The game is still about a year off, and it's really starting to look good! From the ashes of Mega Man rises Mighty No. 9!
I really hope this game sells gangbusters so Capcom can see the error in the way they handled the Megaman franchise.

Ultra Street Fighter IV New Stages

I watched a video from JAEPO on youtube today and got my first glimpse at one of the new stages for USFIV...

Not good I've had to use this gif twice in a weeks time!
Capcom, I lurves ya but this is......well....the gif says it all. This stage DOES NOT WORK IN STREET FIGHTER!

EDIT: Here are all the new stages being cut and paste from SFXT

I like the Mad Gear Hideout, Blast Furnace, Half Pipe and Pitstop 109 stages! 

Mad Gear Hideout obviously will be for Cody, Guy, Rolento, Hugo and Poison

Blast Furnace works perfectly for Zangief 

Half Pipe is great for Yun and Yang

Pitstop 109 would be ideal for Sodom....but alas he's not in USFIV. Maybe Capcom can add him in the background!

As far as Jurassic Era Research Facility and Cosmic Elevator...as I stated above THEY DON'T WORK WITHIN the Street Fighter (proper) universe at all.

If we're gonna be stuck with dinosaurs they should throw Regina in the stage

And Comic Elevator......last I checked the game is called Street Fighter, martial artist's travel all over the world to test their fighting skills against other fighters....Why are we in SPACE!!!!?????

  

CastleVania Lords of Shadow2 Dracula

Here's the latest trailer for CastleVania: Lords of Shadow 2, we've seen alot of the footage before such as Alucard, Trevor Belmont, Marie (I thought she was dead), Victor Belmont, Carmilla's back....she took quite an ass whooping from Gabriel in the first game, but there is definitely some new stuff to glimpse like Satan and a new character named Raisa Volkova and another new character The Toy maker.
I need to get a new PS3 ASAP!
Oh and Krogenar....if you still have this first game, I really recommend you give it another go....it's a great game!

USFIV Supers & Ultra's revealed

Here's the video's of the Super's and Ultra's for Ultra Street Fighter IV. I'm not feeling the red focus and the Double Ultra's that were previously revealed by combofiend but what ever. I actually started playing AE again a week or two ago...amazing how fast you loose your mojo in this game! I've also been playing a little 3rd Strike with some guys from Unity. Next week we may get some HDR matches in also!

My Los Santos Picture Log Volume 5

My on going adventures in Los Santos continue! This week I bought the old dock at Paleto Cove for $250,000, and it comes with a submersible!










So I took my yellow submarine and collected all the nuclear waste sitting on the sea floor around LS....that was actually very profitable, Michael now has over a million bucks! While poor Trevor only has $89,000...
But don't feel too bad for Trevor he has recently moved into the Vanilla Unicorn!

Oh and my son was kind enough to return my car....complete with new rims....so classy!

CastleVania: Lords of Shadow 2 Dracula's Vengeance Trailer

Remind me why I need a PS4 again?
I truly enjoyed the first game in this reboot of the franchise with it's LotR inspired environments and GoW inspired gameplay and this trailer for CastleVania: Lords of Shadow 2 looks to take the story to new heights....albeit with a few changes to the official continuity. Yes I'm talking about Trevor Belmont and Alucard!
So now Trevor Belmont is Gabriel's son, turned vampire who goes by the name Alucard.

There's nothing that needs to be said, Trevor's totally fucked in the head but he's also hilarious....definately the most "colorful" character in video game history!

I have added a video of the funniest Trevor transitions in the game.....when you switch from of the characters to another you get to see them in their natural habitat doing their own thing....Trevor's are by far the funniest!

GTA V hits the streets in 19 days and I've tried....Lord knows I've tried to curb my enthusiasm for this game after being utterly let down with GTA IV, but after playing RDR my faith has been restored that R* has some awesome shit in store for us with GTA V!

New USFIV trailer from Capcom Japan!
So the mystery 5th character....who is it.
At first I thought it was gonna be Asura, Ono confirmed it wasn't Asura.
The info that we know is:

• It will be a character from the SF universe or at least fit into the SF universe
• It is a character that isn't on anyone's radar
•  It's an existing Capcom Character
• It hasn't been "playable" in a Street Fighter or any other fighting game before
• It's Not Haggar from FF confirmed by Ono

So based on that
Here's my 3 guesses on who the mystery character is!

1. Kevin Straker (Ken)  from Street Fighter 2010
2. Guile's Daughter
3. Goutetsu

E3 Microsoft XBox One & Sony PlayStation Conference....the ecosystem...the games...the network....the price!

So yesterday Microsoft and Sony had their E3 pressers, I watched the Microsoft conference just to see how they would recover from their Xbox One reveal event which sent the interwebs into a frenzy with the DRM and always on info.

They started with Hideo Kojima presenting MGS V: The Phantom Pain for XBoxOne....I think we all know MGS V TPP will sell better on the PS3/4...a noble effort to woo the Japanese gamers, by in my opinion pointless.



They did however focus on games....good move Microsoft:

MS did clarify the DRM/always on fiasco....although a bit clearer I still don't like the policy at all. I trade games with my friends and if the game is good enough....RDR for example I'll buy it. Microsoft revealed the MSRP for the XBoxOne will be $499.99


.....the silence was deafening, ouch! Brings back memories of Sony's 2006 E3 presser with Kaz revealing the PS3 MSRP...



At the end of the day Sony had their E3 presser, there were still a few lingering questions in my mind. The two most critical for me were how much will the console cost and will the PSN service still offer online gaming for free....oh and would Sony have some sort of DRM policy like Microsoft?
After the traditional game montage Sony kicked things off with a little news on the Vita front...news titles and cross play with the PS4, then we moved straight into the current with the PS3 and showed the strong line up that's still to come begining with GoTY contender The last of Us, then we got some new vids for

Sony also mentioned a GT5 GTAV/PS3 bundle, after that we segwayed into the PS4 and a "World without bounds". I got a bit nervous at this point....if they are saying a world without bounds they better not have any stupid restrictions on sharing/trading games! Then they revealed the PS4! O.O the moment we've all been waiting 4....see what I did there?
Annd meh...it's not that sexy, in fact it looks ALOT like a PS2!

There was a noticeable silence and my first reaction was not like OMFG it's gorgeous! The first thought in my head was this is what I waited 4 months for!?
So Sony briskly moved on to the new additions to the PSN, Red Box Instant and Flixter...mmmmkaaay.....
then they brought out the CEO of Sony pictures....this guy was obviously out of his element and it showed! He talked about how Sony pictures is commited to bringing the best movies to the PSN....for the gamers....ok ok I get it! It's all about the gamers, please the horse is dead, stop beating it!
I was getting a little nervous....we haven't heard the MSRP yet, no word on sharing games, nadda on the PSN of tomorrow...
Then Shuhei comes on stage and gets the wheels rolling again talking about a bunch of new IP's (intellectual properties) like

Then we got some new trailers for previously confirmed PS4 launch titles, unfortunately InFamous Second Son is slated for Q1 2014 :(

 After the Infamous Second Son trailer Sony had regained their momentum and Shuhei started talking how the Power of the PS4 will take story telling to the next level with advanced facial mapping setting new levels of emotional expression and who better to demonstrate this than.....da da daaaaa The Dark Sorcerer!



That had me laughing!
With all the hater aid that recently came from a bunch of indie devs regarding their relationship with Microsoft, Sony has opened the gates to work on indie games for the PS4, they showed at least 6 on stage including Don't Starve, Transistor, Secret Ponchos and many more!
Then Sony "released the Kraken!!!!" and announced via video conference that Final Fantasy Vs XIII was ALIVE!!! Millions of Final Fantasy Fans rejoiced!

Oh yeah and for those who still have a shred of faith left, FFXIV will be exclusive to PS3/4



With the Kracken released Sony showed no mercy as they unveiled their used game policy....you hear the applause??? The media is chanting Sony Sony Sony...



And then Sony detailed the updated PSN + program....it's interesting to note how they breezed right through the fact that online multiplayer now requires a PSN+ subscription...no matter, from what I've from many peeps on my PSN friends list the service is worth more than gold ;)



And here is Sony's KO punch to the competition!
$399 dollars for PS4 or $499  for XBox One the choice is your's. Persoally I think this console war is over...
I'll be a 4th generation Sony gamer.

Remember Me: Memory Trailer

Just in case you're still unsure about Capcom & Dontnod's Remember Me, Capcom just put out a new trailer that is narrated by the creative director and gives a very detailed explanation of the games story and the games mechanics!
The game sounds very intriguing with a hint of Ghost in the Shell inspiration.
I was sold on this new IP when I first heard of it, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say this game is worth it and should be on many gamers radar!

R* has put out 3 trailers for GTA V's three protagonists Michael, Franklin and Trevor. Below is the 3 in 1 trailer, the game looks amazing and the 3 guys are infinitely better than Niko Belic! LMAO at Trevor, that dude is one sick fuq!

R* just released the official box art for GTA V! With this and the recent pics released the media blitzkrieg has officially begun! Are you looking forward to GTA V? I am, I was not blown away with GTA IV but I have a good feeling about GTA V.

Destiny: Pathways out of Darkness trailer

I find the title of the below video documentary fascinating...Pathways out of Darkness. From what I've learned Destiny is a FPS/Sci Fi adventure game in a "living world"....think MMO, the game is always on whether you're playing or not, there's a real working economy, weather effects, very dynamic "world" in this case solar system.
This is the first title from Bungie that will be available on more than just the Xbox, and according to the video Bungie plans this game to have a life expectancy of 10+ years...which begs the question will this game also be available on PS4 and Xbox720? The whole time while watching the video I kept thinking to myself, "Bioware really needs to do something like this for the Mass Effect franchise!"
I'm excited to see Bungie making pathways to other consoles besides Microsoft!

"From Fox two Phantoms were born"...The Phantom Pain / MGS Ground Zeroes is the same game!

Back in July Konami began the 25th anniversary celebration of the Metal Gear franchise by gracing us with our first glimpse of MGS Ground Zeroes



 Then in December during the VGA's we get this mysterious trailer for The Phantom Pain from an unheard of Moby Dick studio's...

 
After watching the trailer for The Phantom Pain I was like dam that looks a helluva lot like Snake! And the games title kept buggin me, then I remembered on the poster for MGS Ground Zeroes the quote, "From Fox two Phantoms were Born"!
The Phantom Pain!!!
The Pain was one of the members of the Cobra Unit, whether there's any connection to that character in Ground Zeroes/MGS V: Ground Zeroes is doubtful, I think we're talking about the Les Enfants Terribles project and Solid/Liquid Snake...Solidus will be mentioned in the epilogue ;)

So with all this contemplation I got my Sherlock Holmes cap and pipe and did a little research and paid moby dick studios web site a visit then headed over to their YouTube channel and noticed Mr. Joskim Mogren's link to his G+ account...
This fella looks awful familiar!
