I bet when 2/3 of the Titanic was already submerged the crew got frantic and just started coming up with all kinds of cockamamie idea's...we can see this in the D23 "trailer" for TRoS...
First off literally 56 seconds of this "trailer" is nothing but a reminder of better times....before Disney. Thanks for the trip down nostalgia lane but I thought you wanted us to "let the past die, kill it if we have to". And how did you respond to criticism of TLJ from fans like myself???

And the rest is just....cockamamie








Are we supposed to believe C-3PX is gonna be in RotS, or is this confirmation of the recent plot leak the C-3PO mistakenly uploads the memory unit of an old combat droid. It wasn't funny in AotC, it certainly won't be funny now.

So Rey is a Sith Temple Guard?? Nice connection to Rebels, but futile. the writers of BVS pale in comparison to Dave Filoni, the prodigal son of the Maker!

There's a difference between thematic juxtaposition for story telling purpose and control C, control V. I don't think Jar Jar realizes this!
I fear this trilogy was rushed out with out a clear story planned, character development planned out and has not connected to kids my son's age. The ST has created a rift in the fandom as far apart in opinion as the Jedi and Sith philosophies and only a master who knows all the aspects of the force can reunite the fandom! Clearly the person IS NOT Kathleen Kennedy!
I propose a vote of no confidence in Kathleen Kennedy, and propose Dave Filoni be considered as the new Chancelor of Lucasfilm!

D-23 Expo July 14-16 2017 What will we get from that Galaxy far far away?

With SWCO behind us let's look to the future, Disney's Expo that happens every other year is coming this July! At the 2015 convention we got some exciting news regarding Star Wars Land and I'm positive we will get a presentation with updates on the progress and highlights we can look forward to in 2019...(that's some good timing!)

Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens Drew Struzan Poster Analysis

There was an abundance of news yesterday from the D23 expo! From Star Wars Land being built in Disney World and Land, to the cast announcement for Rogue One, to Colin Trevarrow directing Episode IX.
That stuff is very cool and exciting but this poster from Dew Struzan is what really caught my eye!
At first I was quite surprised seeing Fin (John Boyega) holding what might be Anakin's Lightsaber, but lets look beyond that.
How did that monologue go in the first trailer ???
There has been an awakening...

The Dark side and the Light...
Now lets look at Struzan's poster, there's the three main characters on the top.... Kylo Ren on the right who represents the Dark side with the cold darkness of space as his backdrop and our boy Fin on the left clearly repping the Light side with the warm light of the Jakku sun behind him and smack dab in the center is Rey....
So is Rey not the hero of the ST? Up until this poster I was under the impression Kylo was the primary antagonist of Episode VII and Kira Rey was the primary protagonist....now I don't know. Does Kira represent both the light and dark sides in perfect balance?
And then we have everyone's favorite scoundrel rocking his trusty blaster under Fin.....alone...no sign of Chewie, No Leia, No sign of Luke or Leia....very odd. No sign of the Falcon.
I gotta say this poster seems lacking.
So based on this poster and recent revelation that Han Solo had a wife....here's my crazy ass hypothesis!

Fin is the biological son of Sana and Hann Solo, Hann assumed for whatever reason is family was killed by either the Hutts (debts to the mob...) or the Empire (war).
He meets up with Ben, Luke and Leia and a new life presents itself...
Han and Leia adopt 2 war orphans Kira and Kylo after RotJ and here's how we land at the above poster...
I doubt this will come to fruition but hey how much do we know about Lando...we know Hann knows him, we know Lando is a scoundrel, but we know little to nothing about Lando's family from the films....maybe Lando had a sister...
