Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters S3E61 Evolution Recap

One thing TFP does very well is the dramatic entrance, and when Predking reveals his ability to transform

Megs, Screamer and Shockwave are all like....

The beauty of this episode was watching Starscream come up with the plan to destroy the Predaclone army by baiting the Autobots on the fly in front of Megatron....most deceptive Decepticon goes to.....

And the other highlight of episode 61 was the battle between Ultra Magnus and Wheel Jack against Predaking! Predking absolutely wiped the floor with them! And Magnus loses a hand!
At first I didn't like the voice of Predaking, but it's actually very fitting, if you look at his name Pred-a-king, the voice is regal, intelligent and powerful.
I wonder if Megatron ever faced anything like Predaking in the pits of Kaon????
A very enjoyable episode chock full of action!

My Post E3 Dream....

So E3 has come and gone and I did enjoy watching Microsoft's epic fail and 180. I enjoyed  watching Sony jump on the hater aide bandwagon, those two totally remind me of the good ol day of Nintendo and Sega....but E3 also left me a little uncertain about the industries future.
Part of me wishes we could return to a more innocent time in gaming where a hedgehog  had beef with 2 Italian plumbers, and you're biggest headache with your games was having to blow the dust off em before popping them into the console.....games that still work today! Days before on disk & day 1 DLC, days before having to worry about your banking info being stolen because the console's maker's servers have been hacked, days before politicians blamed every shooting on video games....oh wait never mind that one.
Don't get me wrong, there are some truly remarkable things we gamers have today that was just not possible back then....games like The Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption, Halo, God of War, and services like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu+. Digital movies, music, TV shows available to download...there's so much these consoles offer  on top of just playing video games! But then we see large corporations like Microsoft pull some deceitful shenanigans like we saw at E3 this year that make me wish gaming's founding fathers, Atari, SEGA and Nintendo would rise up, and give the gamers a reason to tell companies like Microsoft to STFU.
If you thing the applause Sony got at E3 was big, imagine if SEGA dropped this bombshell!
I can only speak for myself but if Sega did do this I would have thrown my money at them! And I think many others would have also, just to show Sony and Microsoft the ONLY reason they are where they are IS because of US!
SEGA please come back to consoles!

ME3 EDI latex cosplay costume

After ME2 I was convinced Miranda Lawson's body was the most genetically perfect from the Citadel to the edge of the Terminus System, but Joker knew there was something better out there!
Alas EDI acquired a "shell" in ME3 and Joker's match.com profile finally found a match!

I got a little heat from some cos players a couple years back about my stance of cos play and who should and should not do it...with that in mind, all you cosplayers go to  anatomic-latex.com and get your EDI on!

Dear God no chubby, pimply EDI's please!
Dam droid! You a sexy bitch!
Oh BTW that's a real woman sporting that costume! MAJOR KUDOS to the make up artist!

Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters S3E61 Evolution Promo

Well Well look who shows his robot form finally! And hot dam Predaking looks BADASS! Some bots are gunna die before the end! Popular opinion is Ultra Magnus and Megatron....
If their was even the slightest chance of the Forge reviving Cybertron before that can be tossed, Predaking snaps the Forge like a toothpick!
With only four episodes left I find it hard to believe TFP is gonna end! I want a season 4!!!!!

Survival Guide for the PS4 Launch Day.

7 yeas ago, November 11th 2006 to be precise  America lost it's collective minds when retail outlets opened their doors to the public. A public that had it's sights set on grabbing a coveted PlayStation 3!
We showed the rest rest of the world just how ugly we can get to be the first!

  • In Boston a man was shot while waiting on line
  • In Indiana the crowd out side of Circuit City tried to force their way in before the police were called
  • In Wisconsin a stampede of shoppers battled over the stores 10 available units and one man left with a concussion!
  • In New Hampshire thieves stole 3 PS3's before they opened their doors (inside job duh)
  • In Washington a teenager was held at gunpoint after getting his PS3! He waited in line for a day and a half!
  • In Northern California Gunmen stole several PS3's the day before launch at a mom n pop store
  • In Fresno California Police were called to the local Best Buy to stop a riot started by a middle aged man name fat jerry

So have we learned from our past, or are we doomed to repeat history? Me? I prefer to err on the side of caution! So lets prepare for the second coming of the console apocalypse! Here are some survival tips to help you the gamer's!
The law of the wild states, only the strong survive...I think the law needs to be amended...strength is great and it will come in handy but the most important muscle to help you survive launch day is your brain!

First, one must understand the basic rules of Capitalism....Supply and Demand! Demand will skyrocket when supply is low and vice versa. (Think Cabbage Patch Kids from the 80's).
So be prepared for the inevitable announcement that there will be a limited amount of systems available at launch...I already got an email from Game Stop "Pre Order NOW! Limited Supply Available". The excuse will be the same as always...the chip manufacturer is having "issues" in their production or shortage of parts etc.
So just pre-order it and save yourself the stress later.

Preparations for campers:

  • Plan out a schedule with friends...there's nothing worse than getting arrested for urinating in public while camping in front of Best Buy for your PS4. I find a four man fire team works best....it's not recommended you store front camp solo. Don't leave your wallet/valuables in the tent!
  • purchase 2 bricks from Home Depot (more on that later)
  • Don't carry cash!!!
  • Be sure to park the car as close to the front doors as possible
  • Assign one friend as "the driver"
  • Have the remainder of your fire team enter the store with you
  • Once your fire team is in, head directly to the package! Avoid all attempted distractions...if some crazy bitch gets loud, give the signal to engage then proceed forward...GET TO DA CONSOLE!
Preparations for the "Single Player"
  • Avoid going alone at all cost! There's a reason why Zebra and Gazelle travel in herds. And why big cats don't often target healthy adult males...
  • If you must go solo be sure to get those 2 bricks previously mentioned
  • Place one brick in coat
  • After paying for PS4, remove PS4 console from box, replace with brick (try to get it in there so it doesn't shift...
  • When you get held up, hand over Best Buy bag with PS4 box to perp, as perp runs away remove brick #2 from coat, aim, get lock on and throw brick at perps head. If you score a head shot retrieve console box, remove brick from box and drop on perps nuts. Remove PS4 console from DSW Warehouse bag and put in PS4 box and be on your way!

XBox One...Eighty! Microsoft Prez of Interactive Entertainment announces new XBO policies

So Microsoft's Don Mattrick put the below message out yesterday...
Fascinating choice of words! Since the Xbox One reveal and more recent E3 expo the interwebs have been ablaze with angry gamers, for very good reasons! So when Don Mattick says he wants to "take this opportunity to thank you for your assistance in helping them reshape the future of XBO" What he really means is "Fuck you very much for interfering with our plans...and a HUGE F.U. to Sony for blowing up our spot at E3!"
Flexibility!??? O.O WTF are they smoking!!!!! There was zero flexability with the used game policy/game sharing policy/region lock (even though blu ray disks are region free)/ 24 hour mandatory check in @ home/ 1 hour check ins when at a friends.
"The freedom to play offline...." Really? REALLY!?
I love how Microsoft simply waves a magic wand and presto now suddenly the cuffs are off.
So all you seaman in a nuclear submarine, rejoice now you can play your XBO offline 10,000 leagues under the sea!
And I promise you Microsoft doesn't appreciate educated and vocal consumers that call Bravo Sierra when they see it.
This announcement would have NEVER happened had Sony announced similar policies at E3, I can assure you of that!
So how does this sit with gamers? Particularly those who are die hard supporters of Microsoft? I've read some people saying it took alot of courage to put this out, I'm of the opposite opinion. This announcement is a direct result of shareholders and drop in stock prices, due in full to the candid and vocal dissatisfaction of consumers. So I am thrilled beyond belief to see that we still do have the power to affect change against the assumptions  of huge companies like Microsoft.

Last week at E3, the excitement, creativity and future of our industry was on display for a global audience. For us, the future comes in the form of Xbox One, a system designed to be the best place to play games this year and for many years to come. As is our heritage with Xbox, we designed a system that could take full advantage of advances in technology in order to deliver a breakthrough in game play and entertainment. We imagined a new set of benefits such as easier roaming, family sharing, and new ways to try and buy games. We believe in the benefits of a connected, digital future. Since unveiling our plans for Xbox One, my team and I have heard directly from many of you, read your comments and listened to your feedback. I would like to take the opportunity today to thank you for your assistance in helping us to reshape the future of Xbox One. You told us how much you loved the flexibility you have today with games delivered on disc. The ability to lend, share, and resell these games at your discretion is of incredible importance to you. Also important to you is the freedom to play offline, for any length of time, anywhere in the world. So, today I am announcing the following changes to Xbox One and how you can play, share, lend, and resell your games exactly as you do today on Xbox 360. Here is what that means:An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games– After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again. There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360.Trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today – There will be no limitations to using and sharing games, it will work just as it does today on Xbox 360.In addition to buying a disc from a retailer, you can also download games from Xbox Live on day of release. If you choose to download your games, you will be able to play them offline just like you do today. Xbox One games will be playable on any Xbox One console -- there will be no regional restrictions. These changes will impact some of the scenarios we previously announced for Xbox One. The sharing of games will work as it does today, you will simply share the disc. Downloaded titles cannot be shared or resold. Also, similar to today, playing disc based games will require that the disc be in the tray. We appreciate your passion, support and willingness to challenge the assumptions of digital licensing and connectivity. While we believe that the majority of people will play games online and access the cloud for both games and entertainment, we will give consumers the choice of both physical and digital content. We have listened and we have heard loud and clear from your feedback that you want the best of both worlds.Thank you again for your candid feedback. Our team remains committed to listening, taking feedback and delivering a great product for you later this year.

XBO PS4 comparison chart and deep thoughts about the future of video games and consoles

I am as guilty as the next gamer when it comes to taking sides when new consoles launch....I've been doing it since the Sega/ Nintendo console wars.
Last Gen I remember being completely turned off when I was in a GS and overheard an employee singing high praise about the Xbox360 to some guy who was obviously a casual gamer, the dude had no clue and took the sales person's word for it. I walked out wondering if Microsoft had made some back room deal with GS to promote the 360. Anyway I held off for the first year and finally bough my PS3 the second holiday season. It was a very rough start for the PS3 as the 360 dominated the market the majority of this generation. But just like the story of the tortoise and the hare the PS3 FINALLY caught up and in my opinion crossed the finish line stronger than the Xbox360.
I've been watching all the announcements from Sony and Microsoft and it appears Sony's price point along with their used game policy has put them in a much more favorable light compared to Microsoft.
Yesterday I watched the Angry Joe interview with Microsoft's Major Nelson....my personal feelings aside, it got me thinking about one thing.....the future.
The music industry, and to a lesser extent the movie industry has been moving away from the physical and towards a digital format, who buys CD's these days aside from old people? Even my mother has bought music from iTunes!
So when Major Nelson asked Angry Joe if he wanted to join him in the future it really got me thinking. Blu Ray disks may be the last bastion of physical media, and if that's the case this might be the last generation of video game consoles as we know it.
My friend Krogenar has mentioned this exact scenario with me and it looks like the XBone might be offering us a glimpse of gaming's future...
I've purchased games via the PS Store, for example Okami HD, so I've platinum'd the game, it has no multiplayer and there's really no incentive for me to replay it.....what now?
I can't give it to my friends, I can't trade it in to the PS Store for credit....but at least I know that if nostalgia kicks in or if my son wants to play it when he's old enough that I'll still have it sitting there on my BC PS3 500GB HDD.
Food for thought gamers.....

FFXIV ARR : Carbuncle Returns! No sign of crabs

CARBUNCLE!
Three new job/classes have been announced for FFXIV.
Arcanist....not Alchemist and we see in the below video the Arcanist "summon" Carbuncle (still better than Courier Crab), a Final Fantasy staple.

Scholar the scholar encapsulates the term the pen is mightier than the sword! Fight the forces of evil by calling forth a mighty....faerie....:/

Summoner My old main in FFXI! All the cool kids wore a horn on their forehead....like a unicorn! We Summoners were Fabulous....LMAO!
Ok so Summoners don't summon Carbuncle???WTF, we get some tiny Ifrit lookin' thing O.o

So I've noticed that some of my friends are in the FFXIV Beta....the rest of us are playing The Last of Us.
I'm tempted to get FFXIV ARR but I'm still not convinced this isn't just Vana Diel 2.0 with a fresh coat of HD paint.

Game Review: The Last of Us

The Last of Us is absolutely amazing! Graphically superior to anything I've played this generation, the game's story takes place 20 years after an apocalyptic viral pandemic ravages the world.
Perhaps you've read the horror stories on National Geographic about Cordyceps and how they infect insects and take control of their brains and greater motor functions, in The Last of Us, a strain of Cordyceps begins to infect humans. This is a refreshing and intelligent angle of approaching the "Zombie Apocalypse" genre!
The game follows they journey of Joel and Ellie as they travel across the decimated ruins of America in an effort to endure and survive to bring a potential cure to humanity, along the way they must fight not only the horrifying infected but the monstrous remnants of humanity.
If you've ever seen the 2009 film adaptation of The Road you can see where Naughty Dog got the inspiration for this game,  that film and AMC's The Walking Dead are obvious inspirations and great one's at that!
The Last of Us is absolutely gorgeous, unlike the environments in The Road, The Last of Us boasts the most spectacular visuals ranging from crumbling city-scapes overrun by nature, dark, dank and claustrophobic subterranean sections, eerily quiet, desolate rural and suburban towns, as well as lake side resorts and fortified towns in a white out blizzard!
Never through my first play through did I feel like I was in an altered version of a previous area, each chapter was completely unique and masterfully designed down to the slightest details like the dilapidated furniture in a abandoned house or the trickling creek that runs thru a small thicket. The audio is another aspect of the game that is so masterfully done! If you don't have a dolby 5.1 surround sound system your missing out on some serious ear candy! There's is no way to properly describe the tension when you're trying to navigate thru a subterranean section where visibility is maybe 6 feet but then with the haze caused by the spores in the air it's more like 3 feet and then you hear it....off to the left...distant at first then distinctly closer but was it to the left or was it behind...clickers! I played the game at night in the dark and dear God that Scared the shit outta me and my wife!
Do you remember RE1's famous line from Barry Burton "Blood! I hope this is not Chris' blood"? Rest assured those days of horrible scripts and cringe inducing dialog are mostly behind us and The Last of Us takes the best games voice acting and puts it to shame! If you watch all the cinematics back to back you'd have yourself a movie that would be of equal or better presentation from start to finish than some recent movies! The game is absolutely NOT for younger audiences as it tackles some seriously mature subject matter.
Gameplay in The Last of Us is a perfect amalgamation of Metal Gear Solid's stealth and the original Resident Evil's survival horror that brings such intense levels of tension that reminds me of when I first played RE1! A beautiful yet terrifying game!
Oh and the multiplayer doesn't feel like an after thought. It's a third person shooter that offers two game types, Survivor & Supply Run. One is a Socom style no respawn TDM and the second is a TDM where both teams start with 20 respawn's. Both are 4 v 4 matches.
The MP offers some refreshing new gameplay mechanics that are relevant in relation to the single player game like collecting supplies to craft upgraded melee weapons, armor or dirty bombs or larger capacity clips. The maps are all also smaller versions of locales in the single player game, and unlike other massively popular shooters, in these MP games communication is key and team tactics are a must! There is also a meta game tied into the MP where the game tracks your time online and every game counts as a day and every week your "clan" is faced with some challenge, illness, firefly/hunter attack and you must choose a challenge like tagging/killing/fragging a certain amount enemies or reviving/healing/gifting team members....depending on the amount you reach that will determine how many NPC's in your clan live and die...survive 12 weeks and you get a shiny trophy to your collection!
The Last of Us is a game that will make non gamers, like my wife and my friend Uncle Paulie reconsider gaming as a legitimate form of entertainment on par with books, movies and television!
Absolutely a must experience game! Unparalleled beauty and horror that sets a new standard in storytelling with an unforgettable cast that players will have a profound connection to and will fight to their last breath to protect!
10/10

FFXIV ARR Tutorial for MMO Newbs

I remember all the macro's I had stored for FFXI, some were just silly one's that I used to show off my knowledge of the franchise but then I had soo many with timers for my SMN with macros for each individual summoned creature....still kinda sad I never got Fenrir and Diabolos!
Anyway if you're still considering FFXIV ARR check out the Dev tutorial vid below! The game looks gorgeous!
Hey Krogenar....RRRRAAAWWWWRRRR!!!

E3 Dragons Crown Trailer

Who remembers the good old days of side scrolling beat em up's like Capcom's Knights of the Round and King of the Dragons where four players chose a class like Elf, Wizard, Fighter and fought thru hordes of AD&D inspired sprites, well 20 years later we get Dragon's Crown!
Heeellllooooo Sorceress!
"Blue Sorceress your breasts are poppin out"

E3 Nintendo Wii U games that would get me to buy the console

Here is Nintendo's golden opportunity to snatch up some marketshare with Microsoft just totally screwing the pooch with their fan base.
Nintendo's Wii U didn't have a very strong launch (not gonna get into why) but there's been some game trailers that look fantastic for the Wii U! These games look so clean and polished! AND FUN!!

Super Smash Bros.

Super Luigi Bros U

Super Mario 3D World

Mario Kart 8

Bayonetta 2

New Xeno...something game

E3 Final Fantasy XV beta gameplay video

I was so psyched when Square Enix revealed Final Fantasy VsXIII wasn't dead and is now FFXV!
Square uploaded a video showcasing beta  gameplay of FFXV, the behemoth looks very impressive! It appears the animated avatars that were in a previous build are gone, the gameplay seems a bit frenetic and it's hard for me to tell who's where and what character is active, possibly because the sequences have been spliced together.

E3 Microsoft XBox One & Sony PlayStation Conference....the ecosystem...the games...the network....the price!

So yesterday Microsoft and Sony had their E3 pressers, I watched the Microsoft conference just to see how they would recover from their Xbox One reveal event which sent the interwebs into a frenzy with the DRM and always on info.

They started with Hideo Kojima presenting MGS V: The Phantom Pain for XBoxOne....I think we all know MGS V TPP will sell better on the PS3/4...a noble effort to woo the Japanese gamers, by in my opinion pointless.

They did however focus on games....good move Microsoft:

Halo,

Quantum Break,

D4,

Killer Instinct,

Forza Motorsport 5,

Project Spark,

Titan Fall,

Crimson Dragon,

MS did clarify the DRM/always on fiasco....although a bit clearer I still don't like the policy at all. I trade games with my friends and if the game is good enough....RDR for example I'll buy it. Microsoft revealed the MSRP for the XBoxOne will be $499.99

.....the silence was deafening, ouch! Brings back memories of Sony's 2006 E3 presser with Kaz revealing the PS3 MSRP...

At the end of the day Sony had their E3 presser, there were still a few lingering questions in my mind. The two most critical for me were how much will the console cost and will the PSN service still offer online gaming for free....oh and would Sony have some sort of DRM policy like Microsoft?
After the traditional game montage Sony kicked things off with a little news on the Vita front...news titles and cross play with the PS4, then we moved straight into the current with the PS3 and showed the strong line up that's still to come begining with GoTY contender The last of Us, then we got some new vids for
Rain

Beyond Two Souls

Gran Turismo 6

Batman Arkham Origins

Sony also mentioned a GT5 GTAV/PS3 bundle, after that we segwayed into the PS4 and a "World without bounds". I got a bit nervous at this point....if they are saying a world without bounds they better not have any stupid restrictions on sharing/trading games! Then they revealed the PS4! O.O the moment we've all been waiting 4....see what I did there?
Annd meh...it's not that sexy, in fact it looks ALOT like a PS2!

There was a noticeable silence and my first reaction was not like OMFG it's gorgeous! The first thought in my head was this is what I waited 4 months for!?
So Sony briskly moved on to the new additions to the PSN, Red Box Instant and Flixter...mmmmkaaay.....
then they brought out the CEO of Sony pictures....this guy was obviously out of his element and it showed! He talked about how Sony pictures is commited to bringing the best movies to the PSN....for the gamers....ok ok I get it! It's all about the gamers, please the horse is dead, stop beating it!
I was getting a little nervous....we haven't heard the MSRP yet, no word on sharing games, nadda on the PSN of tomorrow...
Then Shuhei comes on stage and gets the wheels rolling again talking about a bunch of new IP's (intellectual properties) like

The Order 1886

Then we got some new trailers for previously confirmed PS4 launch titles, unfortunately InFamous Second Son is slated for Q1 2014 :(

Killzone: Shadow Fall

Drive Club

InFamous Second Son

After the Infamous Second Son trailer Sony had regained their momentum and Shuhei started talking how the Power of the PS4 will take story telling to the next level with advanced facial mapping setting new levels of emotional expression and who better to demonstrate this than.....da da daaaaa The Dark Sorcerer!

That had me laughing!
With all the hater aid that recently came from a bunch of indie devs regarding their relationship with Microsoft, Sony has opened the gates to work on indie games for the PS4, they showed at least 6 on stage including Don't Starve, Transistor, Secret Ponchos and many more!
Then Sony "released the Kraken!!!!" and announced via video conference that Final Fantasy Vs XIII was ALIVE!!! Millions of Final Fantasy Fans rejoiced!
Final Fantasy Vs XIII now Final Fantasy XV

and...

Kingdom Hearts III

Oh yeah and for those who still have a shred of faith left, FFXIV will be exclusive to PS3/4

With the Kracken released Sony showed no mercy as they unveiled their used game policy....you hear the applause??? The media is chanting Sony Sony Sony...

And then Sony detailed the updated PSN + program....it's interesting to note how they breezed right through the fact that online multiplayer now requires a PSN+ subscription...no matter, from what I've from many peeps on my PSN friends list the service is worth more than gold ;)

And here is Sony's KO punch to the competition!
$399 dollars for PS4 or $499  for XBox One the choice is your's. Persoally I think this console war is over...
I'll be a 4th generation Sony gamer.

E3 Mirrors Edge 2 Teaser Trailer

The EA conference just concluded and we got PVZ Garden Warfare, BF4, Fifa14, NBALive14, Dragon Age, Battlefront, annnnd Mirror's Edge2!!!!

Watch Dogs: Exposed E3 Trailer

When I saw the first reveal for Watch Dogs at the Sony PS4 event I thought it looked promising, a sandbox game with a hacker protagonist...
After seeing this trailer I can honestly say my friends at work weren't sure if they were watching a video game or a movie trailer!
Very very impressive!

E3 2013 Playstation Press Conference Live stream

E3 FFXIII Lightning Returns Trailer

Square just dropped the trailer for the third installment in the FFXIII series, trilogy, saga...Fabula Nova Crystallis....I dunno anymore! I may be of the minority but I enjoyed FFXIII, yeah it was linear but I definately enjoyed the character development and sub plots in it much more than FFXII. Regardless I didn't purchase FFXIII-2 and this trailer as pretty as it looks has one HUGE flaw in my opinion....it doesn't look like an RPG! This trailer has more in common with games like Bayonetta.
I'll wait to see Square's "The Future of Final Fantasy" E3 presentation, fingers crossed for the "new" VS XIII.

Konami's Pre E3 Show Hideo Kojima talks MGSV The Phantom Pain and Gabriel Belmont returns!

Konami has kicked open the E3 flood gates with two big video's First is Hideo Kojima discussing MGS V The Phantom Pain. I've been following all the drama with David Hayter tweeting he wasn't brought back to voice Big Boss to the more recent news of the "See you at E3, hope I don't loose my voice ;)" tweet. Now in the below video Kojima all but confirms that Kiefer Sutherland will be voicing Big Boss in MGS V and the the game will take place circa 1984....I need to check the MGS database and see if this date puts the kabash on the rumor that this is the game where Solid Snake first comes face to face with Big Boss! If the dates line up then there's hope that David Hayter will be the voice of Solid Snake....as it should be!
Other things I took note of, where is Avi Arad??? It's pretty cold where ever he is! You  know where else it's really cold??? Shadow Moses Island! Arad Productions is co producing the MGS movie...

The second video for Konami's Pre E3 show that I was psyched to see was CastleVania: Lords of Shadow 2. This trailer has renewed my excitement about the sequel...the trailer does show ALOT in fact if I'm not mistaken I think I spotted Alucard!

This years E3 is gonna be off the hook!

The Last of Us Multiplayer Trailer

Aww C'mon Naughty Dog, here take my money! In fact I'll give you all my old SOCOM games too....use them as coasters or whatever. Like the single player game doesn't look like the greatest creation since the wheel you rip out my heart with this multiplayer trailer....Hey Zipper Interactive...you see this? If SOCOM was like this you guys might still be open.
After seeing this I really think alot of old SOCOM players will be picking this up!
CLANS!!!!
I wonder how many of my old Kontract Killaz will be playing The Last of Us multiplayer?

Lil Dickey: White Dude Video

My friend Uncle Paulie just introduced me to Lil Dickey.....yeah that doesn't sound right. What ever watch the video, the lyrics are fuckin hilarious!
I haven't laughed this hard over a rap song lyrics since 2 live crew!
NSFW....

Space Battleship Yamato 2199

I'd like to believe I was introduced to anime in it's golden age, with my all time favorite series being Robotech  Super Dimensional Fortress Macross,  Star Blazers Space Battle Ship Yamato, Galaxy Express and then more recent stuff like Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell, M0, M+, M Frontier.
I just recently discovered the remake of the original aptly titled Space Battleship Yamato 2199, and it looks amazing! I love the fact the character art resembles the style from the seventies series with modern tech designs and special effects!
This makes me hopeful that SDFM remake may actually be a possibility...

The Memorial Day Staycation

Annnd I'm back from my staycation!
Been on vacation since May 21st, went with my family to the parade in town...my son loves seeing the fire trucks and Elmo! Iron Man came by this year to....what a guy!

During the Memorial Day weekend Rockstar hosted a 3X XP event from Friday the 24th thru Sunday the 26th, but they actually began it on the 23rd and extended it through Wednesday the 29th! So I was able to jump from level 29 up to 50 in RDR's multiplayer!

I also wasn't able to chime in on Transformers Prime  but episode 58 "Chain of Command" was by far one of the best episodes of the series! Miko has been growing on me since mid second season, and the scene where she tries to get back aboard Magnus' ship was so enjoyable to watch regardless of the fact  she wasn't killed when she activated the apex armor or that it adjusted to fit a human...ehh whatever Miko's trash talk to Starscream was priceless! And if my eyes didn't deceive me Miko actually performs a Shoryuken in the APEX armor. The dynamic between Wheeljack, Ultra Magnus and Bulkhead is a great way to add new depth to the newest addition to team Prime....and it kinda mirrors the dynamic between Starscream and Shockwave on the decepticon side.

Episode 59 "Plus One" continues with the Predacon relic fossil scavenger hunt, pretty run of the mill episode Arcee  offers an audio receptor to Wheel Jack as the two go beast hunting. Agent Fowler offers to go on a "milk run" with Mrs Darby to retrieve a Predacon fossil in a museum to Jacks distaste.
Megs sends Knockout to intercept the same Predacon fossil there is some funny dialog between the 3 and in the end Knockout successfully retrieves the fossil.
The only other thing of interest was at the very end of the episode when we see the Predacon spying on Starscream's conversation with Megatron....not the untameable unintelligent beast afterall...I wonder if Shockwave is aware?

I also took my son to the Bronx Zoo to see the new Dinosaur Safari exibit...first off these are not the same dinosaurs from Walking with Dinosaurs arena spectacular....

The Safari exibit is about 10 mins long and I lucked out but the line could be over an hour long wait! It's $4 for WCS members, this is really great for little kids so don't get you're expectations too high. I hyped it up for my son and he loved it! So now that I know he can handle that I can take it to the next level which is the above mentioned show.
