I've waited like 15 years for this game what's another 72 days?
So here's the latest trailer for Final Fantasy XV, I love the FF franchise but after FFXIII, and all the sequels to the Fabula Nova Crystallis the Final Fantasy name lost a little luster for me. But it's been a few years so I'm looking forward to this chapter in the series.
Check out the first 12 minutes of Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV! This is one of the companion pieces along with Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV the anime to FFXV a game I've been writing about for almost 10 years! I've watched Brotherhood FFXV Episode 1 Before the Storm on Crunchyroll and it was pretty good, and Kingsglaive looks stunning. I'm really looking forward to FFXV when it FINALLY arrives this November!
I cannot wait for Final Fantasy XV! Sasuke Uchiha Noctis and his broforce take a road trip to escape the invasion from the country of Niflheim. This latest trailer introduces Cid...I don't recall Cid ever being female, not that it matters....love the accent and the hat! Full service huh?
The environments seem very Western to me, I love the scene where they bro's are chilling by a campfire reminds me of my camping trips with friends and family in the summer!
The Beheamoth stalking thru the woods was very cool to, no more warping to a separate battle screen!
And who is that looking for a pedicure at the end???? Titan! So we've seen Leviathan and Titan so far and they are HUGE!!! I can't wait to see Bahamut, Shiva, Ifrit and maybe Diabolos will be in FFXV.
Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor! This trailer has me as excited as I was when I used to read EGM at the back of Software Etc for articles about FFVII! I will be pre ordering this game without hesitation! Seeing Noctis and his boys Ignis, Gladius, Cor and Promto driving around the world checking out the sites and monsters got me thinking FFXV's world may be enormous, but the highlight of the trailer was seeing Stella Nox Fleuet!
I know it's simply a clip from a cutscene but we have certainly come a long way from 1997's FFVII! I mean when I have non gamers asking me who that is.... that's incredible to me as I've been a gamer since the days of the Atari 2600, and seeing the day when video game characters are indistinguishable from real life characters is very exciting. I've been following Final Fantasy XV since 2007 when it was FF Vs XIII and I hope this game reignites the magic of this franchise like the days when Square soft had hit after hit after hit on the shelves!
I was so psyched when Square Enix revealed Final Fantasy VsXIII wasn't dead and is now FFXV!
Square uploaded a video showcasing beta gameplay of FFXV, the behemoth looks very impressive! It appears the animated avatars that were in a previous build are gone, the gameplay seems a bit frenetic and it's hard for me to tell who's where and what character is active, possibly because the sequences have been spliced together.
