Spiderman Far from Home Trailer

OK I heard a breakdown of this trailer about a month ago from a South American convention and lo and behold it was 100% accurate. I enjoyed 99% of the trailer, I think the line from MJ after Peter said she looked pretty was awkward and kinda didn't fit......if I may be so bold as to say toxic femininity!
And Damn Marisa Tomei.....DAYUM she don't age! She must've bought all da Ancient Chinese Pearl Cream!!! The end scene was hilarious with Flash and Peter, I'm kinda surprised the dropped dick-wad in the trailer!
LMAO "Peter Parker to pick up a passport please" try saying that 10 times fast!

I was excited for this movie last year but these trailer's are just not doing it for me!
I think this trailer would benefit from some 90's grunge music instead of the canned "epic/ extreme sound track".

Venom Trailer #2

OK this trailer had grabbed my attention! It looks like Sony has learned what Venom really is.....thanks to Marvel's guiding hand.
I'm surprised they showed Venom Vs Riot scene with both Tom Hardy and Riz Ahmed clearly visable!
OK going to watch it again.

Avengers Infinity War Trailer #2

LMAO Disney moved Avengers Infinity War a week early to space it out with Solo!!!!
I got over hyped for Age of Ultron, No matter how hype this trailer is....and it is HYPE!!! I will endeavor to keep my expectations in check!
Steve MFing Rogers!!!! He moved Molnir.....he's gonna sacrafice himself to save the earth! That's my prediction!
Peter Quill stealing Tony Starks mojo, love it! Alien Voldamort hushing Dr Strange....that was odd.
Was that a flash back of young Gamora or was that the time stone??
Interesting how Loki is seen breifly from this trailer and we see Thanos crushing the Tesseract in his hand. Loki will you ever learn?!
I didn't see any sign of Captain Marvel, but something tells me she'll show up in the credits since her movie comes out between IW1 nd IW2.
I also didn't see Nebula bt I'm sure she will show up.
So who's not making it thru IW? My money's on Cap and Tony! Bucky Barnes will take the Captain America Identity and Shuri will don the Ironman armor.
As for Hawkeye....gone golfing? Again?

Movie Review: Captain America Civil War

I saw Captain America Civil War Saturday night and it was Amazing! Ya know what else was amazing? Spiderman! I'll get back to everyone's favorite web slinger but first allow me to congratulate Cap, he has done something no other Super hero has been able to accomplish, have 3 films that have each been better than the previous! Think about it, Christopher Reeves Superman, Tobey Macguire's Spider-Man, The first 3 X-Men movies, Even Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy! None of them were able to do what Chris Evens Captain America has done.

I remember writing the review for Captain America: The First Avenger and saying how surprised I was at how much I enjoyed it, now 5 years later I'm writing to say, I expected a great Captain America movie and I got perhaps the greatest movie in the MCU to date...no pressure Star Lord.

Is it necessary to have seen the previous CA and Avengers films to understand/ appreciate Civil War? Not entirely...the Russo Bros cleverly use the Sokovia Accords conference with General Ross to recap previous events but also set the stage for the events in Civil War.
In order to fully appreciate all aspects of Civil War I recommend seeing the first two Captain America movies as well as both of The Avengers movies and the three Iron man movies and maybe a bit of the TV series Agent Carter.

There were two notable Avengers absent from the action, Thor and Hulk, I'm fairly certain we will find out why Thor was not around in Thor: Ragnarok. As far as Dr Banner is concerned maybe he'll make an appearance in Ragnarok also.

In their absence we are treated with the introduction of Black Panther played by Chadwick  Boseman, I thought he did a great job with the role and the costume looked badass. But what enhanced ability does Black Panther have? Super Speed and Agility and a full Vibranium suit?

And the second new recruit to the MCU is Spider-Man! And I have to agree with so many early screening comments he was Amazing, during the Airport showdown Spidey brought the comic relief and also proved he had what it takes to play with the big boys coughAntmancough! Tom Holland was terrific as Peter Parker and nailed it in the scene where he meets Tony Stark. Speaking of that scene, I have a question....Marissa Tomey, for reasons I cannot comprehend I still haven't seen Dead Pool but does this mean Peter Parkers Aunt May is also Dead Pools girl?

The one thing that the MCU has had trouble with has been the Villians, yeah Ultron was no where near as badass as Marvels animated films and series like Avengers Assemble so how did the villian in Civil War fare? Well there's actually two, Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) and Crossbones (Frank Grillo), Crossbones is basically reduced to a plot device, the true villian is Baron Zemo, even if his motive was simply revenge his methods were diabolical! I'm putting Zemo up there with Loki as one of my favorite bad guys in the MCU so far.

I also want to mention that Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch) and Paul Bettany (Vision) seemed much more comfortable in this movie versus Avengers: AoU. Unfortunately Civil War reconfirms my opinion that AoU was made as a bridge between phase 2 and phase 3.

Captain America: Civil War is an awesome movie, I loved it from start to finish and phase 3 of the MCU has hit the ground running! 2017 is going to be insane with Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Spider-Man Homecoming, Thor Ragnarok, and Black Panther!

So do your Civil Duty and go see Captain America Civil War!

Throughout the MCU we've had our ups and downs with Iron Man (2 for 3), The Avengers (1 for 2), and Thor, but Captain America has been consistently good and from the looks of CA: Civil War Cap's gonna be 3 for 3!
There's alot to catch in this trailer,

Phase 3 is starting off with a BANG/ KAPOW/ HUZZAH!

Agent Carter: My Impressions

I suffered through the 2 hour premiere of Agent Carter as Peggy struggles with post war life in the big city. I didn't suffer from the show, I enjoyed it! I suffered from an excruciating migraine headache from a broken wisdom tooth as well as a cavity under an old filling.

My wife and I enjoyed the two episodes; Now is Not the End and Bridge and Tunnel watching Peggy cope with Steve's "death", finding a new place to live, dealing with a job at the SSR that is the equivalent to a secretary and being surrounded by male chauvinist's that treat her like one....little do they know...
So Agent Carter meets Howard Stark and agrees to help him by tracking down who stole his formula for molecular Nitramine. But in doing so risks being labeled a traitor to the United States and co conspirator along with Howard Stark.
So Peggy's first Mission: Operation Katamari leads her and Jarvis her new man servant to the Roxxon plant where they track down a member of a secret organization called Leviathan Leet Brannis. The agent without a voice escapes in a milk truck full of Nitamine bombs as he uses one to destroy the Roxxon plant....very exciting stuff.


 Episode two Peggy goes deep undercover as a health inspector at the distribution center for the milk truck Leet Brannis used to escape the Roxxon plant in the first episode. That leads them to Miles Van Ert, which leads Peggy and Jarvis to Brannis where they discover he has double crossed Leviathan, the trio are attacked by Sasha Demidov the other voiceless Leviathan agent with a very similar typewriter as seen in Fringe, the IBM Selectric 251!
So Peggy fights Sasha on top of the milk truck which totally had an Indiana Jones vibe to it, the trio are able to defeat Sasha by jumping off/out of the truck just before it goes flying off a cliff and all the Nitramine bombs go KABOOM!
Before dying Brannis draws a heart with a squiggly line through it....ooooh a clue!
So will Agent Carter remain on my DVR? For now yes, it was entertaining I think Hayley Atwell has proven that Agent Carter can be an incredible hero regardless if she doesn't have super powers.

I remember reading a synopsis of this trailer awhile back, but seeing the Hulk Buster armor and Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver was cool, but finally getting to see Ultron at the end was awesome!

Guardians of the Galaxy Trailer #2

Ok I may be alone in this....but somehow I don't think so. GotG is the new Star Wars.
Look at the second trailer and tell me this doesn't remind all the old school Star Wars fans like me ( those who can say they saw the OT in a theater) of the fun and excitement of Han, Chewie and Luke.
Guardians of the Galaxy just looks like pure fun....no taxation of trade routes or space termites and politics...

Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy teaser trailer #1

I don't know shit about GotG other than Vin Deisel is doing the voice of Groot the tree dood and Bradley Cooper is voicing Rocket Raccoon. These characters have some connection to Thanos, who's seen at the end of The Avengers.

Iron Man 3 Trailer

Iron Man 3 has just claimed May 3, 2013! All other movies that week are are doomed at the BO!
OMFG this trailer is epic....Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin!
The rings are confirmed via the trailer but will we get a glimpse of the remains of Axon-Karr and his Starship with the origin story of the Mandarin??? I hope so!
I expect the next trailer we see will show Ultimo...
I can't wait! 

Deadpool Game teaser trailer....scratch that itch!

I never read the Deadpool comics, I vaguely recall Krogenar telling me about the character years and years ago but I wasn't into MArvel comics like he was. The first time I saw Deadpool was in X men Origins Wolverine....and based on what I know now....they really massacred the character! I think Ryan Reynolds was the perfect choice but that freak at the end of the movie was a far cry what the real dead pool in the comics, and in MVC3. This trailer is hilarious, I hope the game is as much fun as this trailer, this is definitely the correct medium for Deadpool, as the character's idiosyncracies might be lost in film.
