TGS 11: Lord of Apocalypse Trailer

Hey kid wanna be a monster hunter, but you're just not sure if ya got the right stuff? And but stuff I mean synth items...well here try this! Lord of Arcana Apocalypse will be SquareEnix's second attempt at a monster hunteresque style game for the Sony handhelds....I find this very perplexing that Square is somehow unable to make a superior "monster-hunter" game over Capcom! Umm they are the house that built Final Fantasy.....

NGP or PSP2 commercial

I've never owned a portable gaming system but the PSP was one I would've probably dropped the cash on...it was a sweet looking device! But there was always something that stayed my hand from pulling out the wallet...one analog stick! Then the PSPgo was revealed and again one analog stick...WTF. The games were gorgeous, it played movies and had PS store integration....nice, but I never did get one. Now Sony reveals the NGP (PSP2)...Just watching the commercial I'm happy to see Sony has listened to the community and added the second analog stick, a touch screen, motion control and some sorta touch pad on the flip side. The PSP2 looks slightly more ergonogically comfortable than it's forefather. All in all the PSP2 looks fantastic and did you see some of the franchises the PSP2 was running? Uncharted, Resistance...those games are graphics monsters!
Looks like next holiday season Sony is gonna face off against the Nintendo's 3DS, I hope the PSP2 competes better against Nintendo's next handheld than the PSP did.

Vocaloid to the PSP! Hatsune Miku: Project Diva

Forget MGS Peace Walker folks Hatsune is gonna help the PSP finally overtake the DS! Vocaloid is Ultra Moe! This game might actully get the PSP in girl gamers hands!
Unfortunately I don't see this game making it Stateside, Sega's been pretty hot lately with Valkyria and Vocaloid!

E3: PSP Go

Sony has released images of the next version of the PSP, code named PSP-Go. They have dropped the UMD drive support and now all media will be accessable via the PSN...movies, games, tv programs, anime, music ect.
Here's the 411 on the Go <---stupid name!
* 3.8-inch display (resolution is undisclosed)
* 43 percent lighter than the PSP-3000
* 16GB of Flash storage* Bluetooth built-in; supports handset tethering and BT headsets
* No UMD drive
* Memory Stick Micro slot
* New Gran Turismo, Little Big Planet and new Metal Gear Solid (!) on the way
* Full PlayStation Network support (movie and TV rentals / purchases)

I wanna say if this is a production model then the designers need FAIL burnt on their foreheads!














Please note with a little MS paint magic I have transformed PSP-Fail to PSP-FTW! Aside from the obvious fixes I've made, make it a dual slider like the Helio Ocean with phone capabilities and a digital camera and Sony would have the end all be all handheld gaming rig!

Final Fantasy Dissidia: Kefka V Sepheroth

The latest trailer for FF:Dissidia is out and it's impressive! If you still don't own a PSP you may want to get one simply so you can play Final Fantasy Dissidia. Think of Dissidia as Final Fantasy's answer to WrestleMania. For Final Fantasy Fanatics seeing Kefka fight Sepheroth each with there own trademark attacks is a dream come true. This trailer is over 5 minutes long but it's simply amazing to watch!

E3 08 Sony Montage

I really think this would make a great commercial for Sony. It's the stuff that makes fanboys raise their controllers in the air in unison and cheer thunderously!

Final Fantasy Dissidia

Another Final Fantasy title announced during Jump Festa is FF: Dissidia. For the 20th Anniversary of Final Fantasy Sqenix is producing a very different type of Final Fantasy for the PSP, Dissidia is a fighting game of sorts that pits the protagonists and antagonists from FFI thru FFIX, maybe X.

The video below showcases fights between Zindane and Kuja from FFIX and Cecil and Kain from FFIV and closes with the Warrior of light facing off against....Sephiroth! The game is planned for the PSP, where was this title at the PSP's launch!? It would've /will sell many PSP's! Dissidia sounds pretty cool! Chaos vs Cloud, Sephiroth vs Ultimecia, Emperor Palmecia vs Tidus! Can't wait for this game to be released.
