SFV AE Weekly Missions and Extra Battle Mode for 8/10/18 - 8/17/18

It's Friday August 10th, the 27th week of AE and this weeks missions went live at 12AM last night! This weeks missions are:

1. Use a V-Skill 10X for 50FM
2. Play Story Mode for 250FM
3. Win 10 Battle Lounge Matches for 500FM
4. Come One Come All for 2,500FM
5. An Arcade score of 100000 or more will be recorded in the rankings for the title "Cursed Warrior"
6. Perform a Crush Counter 20X [CPT 2018] for 2000FM


I'll post a video below to show how to complete the requirements for "Come One Come All".
Go to Versus Mode, Choose Versus CPU, set the difficulty to 1 (for an easier life), choose Bustling Side Street Stage, choose an opponent, and beat your opponent on the left side of the stage, I'm not sure if it's required but try to knock your opponent thru the wall into the restaurant. And if you want to challenge yourself try to knock your opponent into the closet on the second round.

 After completing the weekly missions, head over to the eXtra Battle Mode, this week we have NINE! :

1. Shadaloo Apparation "Ghost of Shadaloo" title for 1000FM

2. Get your Hands on Fortune Tickets VS SF1 Sagat for 250FM

3. [Quick & Immovable] Get the Crossover Costume #2 Rashid/Airman for 2500FM

This weeks missions can net you  3,300 FM + an addional 2,000FM if you bought the CPT 2018 package. Subtract the 2,500FM for Rashid's 2nd [Q&I], Subtract 1000FM for the MM2 Airman Crossover 8 bit BGM, Subtract 1000FM for the MM2 Airman Crossover arrange BGM, subtract 1000FM for each attempt against Shin Bison,
subtract  250FM for fighting SF1 Sagat for some Fortune Tix. Subtract 2000FM for Ken's 2nd [Q&I] if you missed it the first time, Subtract 2000FM for Mika's second [Q&I] if you missed it the first time, subtract 2000FM for Ibuki's second [Q&I] if you missed it the first time, subtract 800 FM for Proof of a Hero if you missed it the first time
So this week I ended up with 2,550 FM because I only did Rashid's 2nd [Q&I] and fought SF1 Sagat for some fortune tix.

I also made a little extra FM by doing Easy, Normal and Hard Survival Mode with Sagat, Gonna do the same for G get a little more FM then tackle Extreme Survival with both of them.


I think it’s pretty interesting that Capcom released Sagat AND G at the same time, so soon after Cody.I didn't get G &/or Sagat August 6th because firstly I didn't have the FM to get either of them and secondly I wasn't sure I wanted to show Capcom that if the DLC character was that desirable I'd drop the cash on them.
But in the end I did break down and buy them with real money via the PS Store because I didn't want to completely miss the train with them.


With the reduction of FM given for the weekly missions + the Xtra Battle Mode challenges that cost FM + Fighting Chance + continues in Survival Mode costing FM,
and removing FM rewards for offline stuff, I honestly think they’re trying to phase out the ability to get DLC content via FM.
Just look at the number of eXtra Battle Mode battles available this week! If that doesn't look like they're trying to get players to use all their FM I don't know what would.

SFV AE Weekly Missions and Extra Battle Mode for 8/2/18 - 8/9/18

It's Friday August 3rd, the 26th week of AE and this weeks missions went live at 12AM last night! This weeks missions are:

1. Perform a Counter 10X for 150FM
2. View a Demonstration for 250FM
3. Win 10 Casual Matches for 1500FM
4. Sakura's Urgent Errand for 2,500FM

I'll post a video below to show how to complete the requirements for Sakura's Urgent Errand.
Go to Story Mode, choose Character Story, choose Karin, choose the final chapter...viola! That's it! You don't even need to fight the CPU.





After completing the weekly missions, head over to the eXtra Battle Mode, this week we have :

1. Rashid's [Q&I] #1 for 2,500FM participation fee


2.  Experienced Shadaloo Soldier for 1000FM participation fee





3. Get your hands on Fortune Tix #6 for 250FM participation fee

This weeks missions can net you  4,400 FM.   Subtract the 2,500FM for Rashid's 1st [Q&I], subtract 3000FM for the 3 attempts against the Experienced Shadaloo Soldier and subtract  250FM for fighting Cannon Strike Cammy for some Fortune Tix. 
So this week I ended up with -1,350 FM but because I was able to level up from beating the Experienced Shadaloo Soldier I made 1000FM so I ended up only -350FM.

EVO is this weekend to I'll be watching the SFV tournament hoping for PG Punk (Karin) or Fujimura (Ibuki).

It's Wed July 4th, the 22nd week of AE and this weeks missions have finally arrived.....better late than never. This week we have 5 missions!
1. Perform a combo 10X for 50FM
2. Perform a Cross-up 10X for 50 FM
3. Play Survival Mode for 250FM
4. Join a Battle lounge for 250FM
5 A Game of Push and Pull for 2,500 FM
6. (CPT 2018) Win 20 Ranked Matches for 10,000 FM
7. Get an Arcade score of 100,000 or greater in Arcade Mode for the title

Go to Versus Mode, Choose Versus CPU, set the difficulty, choose City in Chaos Stage, keep hitting your opponent in the center of the stage until the two guys in the background flip their car back over.


After finishing the missions go tackle this weeks eXtra Battle Mode fights, this week there’s three.

1. Ryu's 4th [Q&I] Crossover costume challenge for 2,500 FM participation fee.

2. Get your Hands on Fortune Tix for 250 FM participation fee.


3. Middle Class Shadaloo Grunt for 500 FM participation fee



This weeks missions can net you 3,100 FM plus an additional 10,000 FM for the CPT challenge (win 20 ranked matches) if you bought the CPT 2018 package. And if you beat the Middle Class Shadaloo Grunt an additional 2,000 FM (X3) after the 500 FM participation fee.. For me I earned 4,000 / 6000 FM....shoulda just used Rashid.

Starting tomorrow Laura will get her first [Q&I], below is the schedule for the Trish/Gloria DMC costume.

Also Ken (Dante) and Ed (Nero) have some DMC alt's avail on the PS store if your so inclined.

It's Friday June 22nd, the 21st week of AE and this weeks missions went live at 12AM last night! This weeks missions are:


1. Use a recovery 10X for 50 FM
2. Play Training Mode for 250FM
3. Play a Casual Match for 500FM
4. You Toucan Be Friends for 2500FM

Go to Versus Mode, Choose Versus CPU, set the difficulty, choose Hillside Plaza Stage, Perform combos's on the right side of the stage so that the Toucan can successfully steal the fruit from the vendor that looks suspiciously like Super Mario.



After finishing the missions go tackle this weeks eXtra Battle Mode fights, this week there’s two;

1. Ryu's 3rd [Q&I] Crossover costume challenge for 2,500 FM participation fee.

2. Cunning Veteran Shadaloo Soldier for 1500 FM participation fee. For the Shadaloo Soldiers that offer EXP I prefer to use my main iso the Rashido method. That didn't work out too well as this guy absolutely wiped the floor with me! 

And remember Cody is arriving Monday the 26th along with the update! So Capcom has updated Survival mode and integrated new features to alleviate the hard (50) and extreme (100)grinds!  
And the other new addition is Fighting Chance where for 500 FM you can have Menat tell you your future and get fabulous prizes like... 

1. New colors (should be free and unlockable)
2. New costumes (Cammy's Cannon Spike costume)
3. Street Fighter Artwork (should be free or go to the SF museum in SF 30th Anniversary Collection) 

Now I'm all for additional content but I don't see the value in Menat's little Fortune telling scheme, you're gonna spend your hard earned FM on whaaaaaat? Colors? Artwork? Alt Costumes??? 500 FM isn't much but 50 FM per win =10 wins to 1 fortune telling.

This weeks missions can net you 3,300 FM. Subtract 2,500 FM for Ryu's second [Q&I] and for the eXtra Battle Mode you can earn 18,000 FM for beating the High Roller Shadaloo Elite Soldier 3 times after the 1500FM participation fee so this week I made a total of 18,800FM!

It's Friday June 7th, the 19th week of AE and this weeks missions went live at 12AM last night! This weeks missions are:

1. Perform a counter 10X for 150 FM

3. Get a KO with an EX move 10X for 250 FM
4. Sleeping Dog for 2500 FM
5. An arcade score of 100,000 or more will be recorded in the rankings for "The Pharaoh Reborn" title

1. Ryu's 1st [Q&I] Crossover costume challenge for 2,500 FM participation fee

2. Cross over BGM "Level 1" from Super Ghouls' n Ghosts for 1000 FM participation fee

3.Triggered Necalli "Prophecy of the End" title reward for 1000 FM participation fee

This weeks missions can net you 3,150 FM. Subtract 1000FM for the Cross Over BGM, subtract 2,500 FM for Ryu's [Q&I] and subtract 1000FM per attempt at Triggered Necalli. I've tried to beat "Shin" Necalli 4X so that's 4K down the drain. I suck at these "Shin" versions of characters! So this week I'm -4,350FM! 

And I finally found my free copy of USFIV that I got when I pre-ordered Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection! So I played a few matches in Endless with a friend. 

Now I stopped Playing IV right before Ultra released because my PS3 YLOD'd on me so I haven't played IV in years! Check out what about 4 years of rust looks like lol!

I look forward to sharing some matches from the 30th Anniversary collection as soon as they patch the lobby system!

Next Week we'll be fighting High Roller Shadaloo Elite for 7,500 FM X3 for a 1500 FM entry fee. And the following week Cody will be available Tuesday the 26th.
 I wonder when the CPT Ring of Power Stage is gonna be available? I noticed it's based on some SFII concept artwork I spotted in the 30th anniversary museum.

1. Perform a Combo 10X for 50 FM
2. Play a Trial for 250FM
3. Get a KO with a Critical Art 10X for 500FM
4. Respectful Spectating for 2500 FM
5. An arcade score of 100000 or more will be recorded in the rankings for "The Pharaoh Reborn" title
6. Get a KO with a Critical Art 10X (CPT) for 2000 FM

2) Experiened Shadaloo Soldier for 20,000 EXP X3 for a 1000 FM entry fee.



This weeks missions can net you 3,300 FM plus an additional 2,000 FM for the CPT challenge if you bought the CPT 2018 package. And if you beat the Experienced Shadaloo Soldier an additional 2,000 FM for every level the character you use levels up. For me I earned 4,300FM

And we got SF 30th Anniversary Collection on the 29th, beat SF1, SFII WW, SFII CE and then tried to set up a private lobby with some friends....that was a total cluster fuq!

Only the first player in the list can "green up", none of the other players can "Green Up".
The other players selecting the first person in the lobby gives the option to Accept / Cancel with the X button, which of course does nothing as you can't do that on behalf of someone else.
Selecting your own name only gives you the option to open your own profile using the X button instead of accepting the match. I was hoping to record some old school matches but alas that never happened.

And on Wednesday We got an update on the next Crossover Costume and it's Ryu's turn! He's rockin Arthur's Armor from Ghouls and Ghosts (and his awesome boxers)! I'll definitely be getting this one simply to fight with Ryu in boxer shorts with hearts!

It looks like we're going to have two Shadaloo Soldiers this June, the return of the High Roller Shadaloo Elite and the Cunning Veteran Shadaloo Officer.

Go to Versus Mode, Choose Versus CPU, keep the CPU difficulty at 4 ,set the match for best of 5, choose the default Kanzuki Estate Stage, choose an opponent, and perform a combo on the opponent on the mid/left side of the stage while 3 ninja's go down the zip line in the background at once.

The Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection launches in 4 days! I'm hyped to go old school for a break from SFV!


Thanks to VesperArcade for the heads up that Capcom has updated the SFV logo on their twitter page which means a new fighter is about to enter the ring! Cody is gonna be announced soon....and the most logical time would be at Combo Breaker 2018!

Based on the schedule I'm guessing the trailer will drop Sunday around 6:30/ 7:00 PM EST

This weeks missions will net you 4,300 FM, minus 2,500 FM if your getting Bison's Crossover Costume and another 1000 FM for each attempt against Ultra Geif I'm 0/3 so far using Rashid, then Karin, and lastly Guile....If I try again I'm gonna give Lady Falke a go, her pole might keep him at a safe distance.




Next week we're fighting the Upper Class Shadaloo Soldier for 5,000 FM X3 for a 1000FM entry fee.

On the 29th the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection launches! I'm looking forward to playing Alpha3 online! And I'm hoping I can get some friends over to get some SF1 action going lol! And I'm excited to finally play 2nd impact at home!

A Short-Tailed Bat Colony for 2,500 FM

1) M. Bison's 1st [Q&I] Crossover costume challenge for 2,500 FM (I passed)
2) Rapidly Advancing Shadaloo Grunt for 10,000 EXP X3 for a 500 FM entry fee. ( failed 3X)



This weeks missions will net you 3,400 FM. I struck out against the Rapidly Advancing Shadaloo Grunt, so 0 EXP.

I'm not sure what XBM we have next week besides Bison's second [Q&I]


Then on May 24th we're fighting the Upper Class Shadaloo Soldier for 5,000 FM X3 for a 1000FM entry fee.



And then on May 31st we're fighting the Experienced Shadaloo Soldier for 20,000 EXP X3 for a 1000 FM entry fee.

It's Thursday May 3rd, the 14th week of AE and this weeks missions went live at 12AM! This weeks missions are:

•  Perform a combo 10X for 50 FM 
•  Play Survival Mode for 250 FM 
• Win 10 ranked matches for 2,500 FM 
• Funny Guy for 2,500 FM 

And if you bought the CPT 2018 pass May’s challenge is:

• Win 10 ranked matches for 7,000 FM.

Go to Versus Mode, Choose Versus CPU, set the difficulty to 1 (for an easier life), choose Union Station Stage, choose an opponent, and beat your opponent in the center of the stage, and hit them with a combo that will make the old guy dancing around stumble and fall down. I happened to be on the Union Station Stage in a Battle Lounge when the missions went live....




 After finishing the missions go tackle this weeks eXtra Battle Mode fights, this week there’s two;

 1) Guile’s 4th [Q&I] Crossover costume challenge for 2,500 FM




2) Middle Class Shadaloo Grunt for a 500 FM entry fee and a 2,500 FM reward X3



This weeks missions will net you 5,300 FM, plus an additional 7000 FM for the month of May if you bought the CPT 2018 package, plus 6000FM for defeating the Middle Class Shadaloo Grunt after the 1,500FM fee for the 3 attempt's. I beat the Middle Class Shadaloo Grunt 2/3 times so I only got 3,500 FM but it's still better than some weeks where I end up in the red.

Capcom Unity has posted the May schedule for the XBM Shadaloo Soldiers

Starting May 10th we get the Rapidly Advancing Shadaloo Grunt for 10,000 EXP X3 for a 500 FM entry fee.

Then on May 24th we're fighting the Upper Class Shadaloo Soldier for 5,000 FM X3 for a 1000FM entry fee.

And then on May 31st we're fighting the Experienced Shadaloo Soldier for 20,000 EXP X3 for a 1000 FM entry fee.

Also Bison will be getting his Crossover Costume starting May 10th.! Astaroth the final boss from Ghosts and Goblins. Below is the schedule.

I'm probably gonna pass on Bison's Crossover costume as I'm hovering at just over 100K FM and I want to be sure I have enough FM for Cody when he launches!

It's Thursday April 26th, the 13th week of AE and this weeks missions went live at 12PM! This weeks missions are:
 Perform an anti-air attack 10X for 50 FM
 Play Training Mode for 250 FM
Use Fight Request to Play a Casual Match for 500FM
 Blunder Bus for 2,500FM I'll post a video below to help show how to complete the requirements for Blunder Bus.



Go to Versus Mode, Choose Versus CPU, set the difficulty to 1 (for an easier life), choose Bustling Side Street Stage, choose an opponent, and beat your opponent on the right side of the stage, and finish them with an attack which will knock them into the bus.



After completing the weekly missions, I headed over to the eXtra Battle Mode and this week we have :

Guile's 3rd [Q&I] Crossover Costume challenge for 2,500 FM,



 Darkness Revenger against Shadow Nash for 1000FM...I tried twice and got my ass whooped using my main but I think the Rashid method will work!


This weeks missions will net you 3,300 FM, Minus 2500FM for Guile's XBM and another 1000FM per attempt against Shadow Nash....

SFV AE Weekly Missions and Extra Battle Mode for 4/19/18 - 4/26/18

It's Thursday April 19th, the 13th week of AE and this weeks missions went live at 12PM! This weeks missions are:
Use a V-Skill 10X for 50 FM
Play Story Mode for 250 FM
Use Fight Request to Play a Ranked Match for 500FM
Remember that Dress for 2,500FM

Go to Story Mode, choose character story, choose Ken, choose Epilogue. Done.



After completing the weekly missions, I headed over to the eXtra Battle Mode and this week we have :
Guile's 2nd [Q&I] Crossover Costume (Nameless Super Soldier from Forgotten Worlds) challenge for 2,500 FM,





Next I faced the Cunning Veteran Shadaloo Officer which has a 1500 FM entry fee and an award of 30,000 EXP and can be fought 3X! That's 90,000 EXP.....which I got none of ! I used my main and this Skeletor wannabe absolutely beat my ass like I never played Street Fighter before. So any FM I made in this weeks missions I blew trying to beat that douchebag.

This weeks missions will net you 3,300FM, subtract 1500FM for Guile's  2nd [Q&I] Crossover Costume (Nameless Super Soldier from Forgotten Worlds) and 4,500FM for fighting the Cunning Veteran Shadaloo Officer. So this week I walked away with -2,700FM.


Next Thursday we battle the middle class Shadaloo Grunt which has a 1500 FM entry fee and an award of 2,500 FM and can be fought 3X! That's 3,000 FM if you win every time!!! Karin is gonna beat that grunt to a pulp!


 The Falke trailer finally dropped on Monday, Aesthetically she’s well done, story and battle costumes look good.
Theme is S+
Move set looks interesting, I was hoping the inputs would not be like Ed, but alas she does.
Her CA is underwhelming, reminds me of a mix of SFIV Juri U1 and Poison U1
She’s very soft spoken, wished her Eng voice actress had a Germanic accent.
I’ll still plan on getting her Tuesday for 100k FM




If I start seeing women wearing green lipstick I will concede that Capcom can control fashion, before Ken was released I never saw guys with the man bun hairstyle but afterwards I saw it everywhere!

SFV Weekly Missions and Extra Battle Mode for 4/12/18 - 4/19/18

It's Thursday April 12th, the 12th week of AE and this weeks missions went live at 12PM! This weeks missions are:


Perform a counter 10X for 150 FM
View a Demonstration for 250 FM
Join a Battle Lounge for 250 FM
Safety Measures for 2,500FM

I'll post a video below to help show how to complete the requirements for the Safety Measures mission.


Go to Versus Mode, choose versus CPU, set the difficulty to 1 (for an easier life), choose Bustling Side Street Stage, choose an opponent, break the 4 neon signs hanging on the center left side of the stage while fighting your opponent.

After completing the weekly missions, I headed over to the eXtra Battle Mode and this week we have :

Guile's 1st [Q&I] Crossover Costume (Nameless Super Soldier from Forgotten Worlds) challenge for 2,500 FM,

High Roller Elite Shadaloo soldier which has a 1500FM entry fee and an award of 7,500 FM and can be fought 3X! That's 18,000 FM if you win every time!!!



This weeks missions will net you 3,150 FM, and with the Golden Shadaloo you can earn up to 21,150FM!!!

Next week we battle the Cunning Veteran Shadaloo Officer which has a 1500 FM entry fee and an award of 30,000 EXP and can be fought 3X! That's 90,000 EXP if you win every time!!!

Then on May 3rd we battle the middle class Shadaloo Grunt which has a 1500 FM entry fee and an award of 2,500 FM and can be fought 3X! That's 3,000 FM if you win every time!!!

I was hopeful we'd get the Falke trailer, but alas she's still "in the lab" and I'm hopeing her trailer grops early next week so she's available Thursday the 19th.

SFV Weekly Missions and Extra Battle Mode for 4/5/18 - 4/12/18

It's Thursday April 5th, the 11th week of AE and this weeks missions went live at 12PM! This weeks missions are:

1. Perform a combo 10X for 50 FM
2. Perform a counter 10X for 150 FM
3. Play a Trial for 250 FM
4. Play a Casual Match for 500 FM
5. Shibasaki's First Request for 2,500FM

I'll post a video below to help show how to complete the requirements for the Shibasaki's First Request  mission.




Go to Story Mode, choose Character Story, choose Dhalsim, Choose Chapter 2 Vs R. Mika, defeat R. Mika, done.

After completing the weekly missions, I headed over to the eXtra Battle Mode and this week we have :
Ken's 4th [Q&I] Crossover Costume challenge for 2,500 FM,
Nash's 4th [Q&I] Crossover Costume challenge for 2,500 FM,(Proof of a Hero) against Ken in his Rathalos Crossover costume for 1000 FM.

This weeks missions will net you 3,450 FM, and since I'm not doing Ken or Nash [Q&I]'s I actually  made a FM profit!
I also bought the CPT 2018 pack so I got a 5,000 FM bonus plus I also made an extra 2,000 FM for banging out the first CPT 2018 challenge: 

1. Perform a combo 20X for 2,000 FM

So all in all I made 10,450FM this week.

Next week a new  [Q&I] Crossover Costume challenge begins for Guile and I will be doing this one!

And next week the Shadaloo Soldiers return! The first is the High Roller Elite Shadaloo soldier which has a 1500 FM entry fee and an award of 7,500 FM and can be fought 3X! That's 18,000 FM if you win every time!!!

SFV Weekly Missions and Extra Battle Mode for 3/29/18 - 4/5/18

It's Friday March 30th, the 10th week of AE and this weeks missions went live at 11PM! This weeks missions are:

1. Perform a normal throw 10 X for 50 FM
2. View Rankings on the CFN for 250FM
3. Play a Ranked Match for 500 FM
4. Come One, Come All for 2,500 FM

I'll post a video below to help show how to complete the requirements for the mission.



Go to Versus Mode, Choose Versus CPU, set the difficulty to 1 (for an easier life), choose Bustling Side Street Stage, choose an opponent, and beat your opponent on the left side of the stage, I'm not sure if it's required but try to knock your opponent thru the wall into the restaurant. And if you want to challenge yourself try to knock your opponent into the closet on the second round.

After completing the weekly missions, I headed over to the eXtra Battle Mode and this week we have :
Ken's 3rd [Q&I] Crossover Costume challenge for 2,500 FM,
Nash's 3rd [Q&I] Crossover Costume challenge for 2,500 FM,
R. Mika's 4th [Q&I] Crossover Costume challenge for 2,500 FM
(Proof of a Hero) against Ken in his Rathalos Crossover costume for 1000 FM.

Another week and no sign of Golden Shadaloo Soldiers....so no Xtra FM.

This weeks missions will net you 3,300 FM, and since I'm not doing Ken, Nash or Mika's [Q&I]'s I actually  made a FM profit!

In other SFV news we'll be getting 3 Darkstalkers Crossover costumes April 3rd.
They will NOT be avail via XBM like the ones we've been doing the past few weeks.
The 3 costumes  are for Menat, Juri and Urien and will only be avail for purchase on the PS store for $3.99 each

SFV Weekly Missions and Extra Battle Mode for 3/22/18 - 3/29/18

It's Thursday March 22nd, the 9th week of AE and this weeks missions went live at 11PM!
This weeks missions are:

1. Use a V-Skill 10X for 50FM
2. Use the Replay Search feature on CFN for 250FM
3. Get a KO with an EX move 10X for 250FM
4. Sakura's Urgent Errand for 2,500FM

Go to Story Mode, choose Character Story, choose Karin, choose the final chapter...viola! That's it! You don't even need to fight the CPU.

After completing the weekly missions, I headed over to the eXtra Battle Mode and this week we have :
Ken's 2nd [Q&I] Crossover Costume challenge for 2,500 FM,
Nash's 2nd [Q&I] Crossover Costume challenge for 2,500 FM,
R. Mika's 3rd [Q&I] Crossover Costume challenge for 2,500 FM
Ibuki's 4th [Q&I] Crossover Costume challenge for 2,500FM,



After getting the Kirin armor I went to Survival mode to unlock the other colors for Ibuki's crossover costume.






This weeks missions will net you 3,050 FM, the XBM will cost you 7,500FM - 8,500FM if you do them all, I only did Ibuki's 4th Q&I.


Also the first CPT premiere event took place March 16th-18th with Tokido's Akuma facing off against Infiltration's Menat in the Grand Final's. Capcom  announced the 2018 CPT DLC bundle, in previous years I've only splurged on the stages but I think this year I may get the whole package.
