Rock Band 2 hits shelves tomorrow 10/19/08!Guitar Hero World Tour trying to recapture the crown for the music game genre which game will you be rocking with?
I'm sticking with Rockband, I'm psyched that I'll be able to xfer most of my RB1 songs over to RB2, essentially doubling the tracks for RB2.

Push Trailer

Ahh young Dakota Fanning, I've enjoyed you in Man on Fire as a kidnap victim, in Hide and Seek running from your crazy dad, in Dreamer saving a horse, and in War of the Worlds running from aliens. You've impressed me so far with your acting skills and movie roll choices, but I wonder how you'll do in cyberpunk movie about people with telekinetic/clairvoyant abilities which looks like a Matrix/X-Men blender?
Push doesn't look like it's bringing anything very original to the genre but it does have a good cast, Chris "Flame on" Evan's, Dakota Fanning and Djimon Hounsou and the action looks impressive, Look out Neo, Cassie Holmes is gonna show you how to emote AND change the future while whooping the Matri...the Division all at the same time!

Marley and Me trailer

After seeing the trailer the movie looks like it's pretty faithful to the book. The book is terrific, I recomend it. I just hope Owen Wilson and Jennifer Anniston can capture the charm of the real Jenny and John Grogan.
Cat people need not apply.

Resistance 2

There's just over two week remaining before Nathan Hale returns to 1950's America to join the sentinels to battle the chimera. Resistance2 launches Nov 4, 2008. Insomniac 's second title in the Resistance franchise looks awesome, both the offline story and the 60 player online campaign! I can't wait to get online with R2 and see how they can get 60 people running around fragging each other without lag, framerate loss, and server timeouts...Yep I'm looking at you Slant Six. I'm kinda pissed I missed out on the beta, but some guys in my clan are in so they're reporting all the details from beta.
Anyway check out the latest trailer for R2, the game really looks amazing!

Socom Confrontation

Socom Confrontation is out now for the Playstation 3!

It's available via the Playstation store for $39.99 or via retail in two options, the game alone for $39.99, or SOCOM with a new bluetooth ear piece for $59.99.

The SOCOM franchise began on the PS2 and was the premiere online game that introduced many to the wonderful world of online shooters. Unlike Call of Duty, SOCOM is a Third Person Shooter (TPS) and gameplay focuses alot more on tactical play instead of run n gun gameplay of most FPS. The use of the headset for communication plays a much more vital role in SOCOM, confrontation builds on this strategic element by introducing dynamic sound and speach via the games 7.1 Dolby Surround sound system. Once I get some more time on the battlefield with Confrontation I'll drop my final score....

TGS 08: Bayonetta

Taking first prize for best camera work at TGS08 is Bayonetta, the VO work seemed a bit fromagey but the action in this title is impressive as was the FMV cutscene!
Bayonetta is being published by Sega, which explains the rings that are seen droping after an enemy is killed. The game shares a few glaring resemblances to the DMC franchise.
Hideki Kamiya certainly follows his own fashion sense, that scarf is aweful and the stiletto guns WHOA.
So what did we learn from the trailer?
Don't f*ck with a four eyed english librarian having a bad hair day!

Movie Review: Sex Drive

Nothing ruins a trip to see Grandma's like breaking down in Amish country during Rumspringa....

I got a chance to catch a sneak preview of Sexdrive this past weekend, with such celluoid masterpeices as Beverly Hills Chihuahua, The Dutchess and Nights in Rodanthe I opted for the road less traveled and it was a fun ride on this road!

Sexdrive is opening the same week as Max Payne so I imagine most folks are gonna drop the cash on Max over Ian, Felicia and Lance next week, but allow me to sway some of you away from the video game remake from Hollywood.

What's in a name? Well the whole bag o' donuts in this case.

The story goes like this; Ian meets Ms Tasty online, Ian steals his older brothers 69 GTO and goes on a road trip with his friends Lance and Felicia to lose his virginity.

I only saw one TV spot for Sexdrive and it was with Ezekiel, Lance and The Judge on the deserted road and I was laughing hysterically.

James Marsden (Cyclops) plays Ian's hyperactive dilhole older brother Rex that takes EXTREME to a new level.

Josh Zuckerman play's Rex's younger brother Ian, who finds his opportunity to loose his virginity thru the interwebs, but he needs The Judge to get to Ms Tasty...

Amanda Crew plays Felicia, Ian's childhood friend that goes along for the ride thinking they're visiting Ian's sick grandma.

Clark Duke plays Ians best friend and social guru Lance. As he tries to mentor Ian on the ways of women, Lance proves without a shadow of a doubt he knows the game because he ain't winning the ladies over with his looks or fashion sense! Lance is kinda the 21st century flounder, but with McLovin's mojo.

Sexdrive reminded me ALOT of Roadtrip, another great comedy I highly recomend! The groups little detour to Amish country was as funny as when Josh, E.L, Rubin and Kyle crashed at the frat house on the way to Austin!

Seth Green was hilarious as the Amish APEX tech grad that helps Ian on his quest to get laid.

The beauty of movies like Sexdrive and Roadtrip isn't the destination, it's the journey.

I'm definately picking up Sexdrive on DVD, hopefully there will be an UNR8D version!

SHINKU KAWAII!!

Sakura will be on the roster for Street Fighter IV on the consoles!
Now if she was 16ish in SFA2, she should be about 20ish in SFIV....her alt outfit better be something that better reflects her age, but it's cool seeing her in action...hope she tied her laces tighter this time around ^_^
