It's Friday August 31st, the 30th week of SFV AE and this weeks missions went live at 12AM last night! This weeks missions are:
1. Perform a counter 10X for 50FM
2. Play a Ranked Match for 500FM
3. Use the Rival Search feature on CFN for 250FM
4. Remember that Dress for 2,500FM
An Arcade score of 100,000 or more will be recorded in the rankings for the title "Hero of the Waters"
[CPT 2018] Win 20 Ranked Matches for 10,000FM
I'll post a video below to show how to complete the requirements for "Remember that Dress".
Go to Story Mode, choose Character Story, choose Ken, go to chapter 3, done.
After completing the weekly missions, head over to the eXtra Battle Mode, this week we have
1. Darkness Revenger (Shin Nash) for 1500 FM
2. Get your hands on Fortune Tix against Balrog (SF1 Mike) for 250 FM
3. [Q&I] Get the Cammy/ Fiona Crossover Costume #1 for 2500 FM
This weeks missions can net you 3,300 FM
Subtract the 2,500FM for Cammy's's 1st [Q&I],
Subtract 1500FM for EBM Darkness Revenger,
Subtract 250FM for fighting Balrog / Mike for some Fortune Tix.
So this week I ended up with 3,050FM FM because I fought fought Balrog/Mike for some fortune tix. I didnt bother trying to beat Shin Nash for a stupid title or Cammy’s 1st [Q&I] as Fiona, even though it's such an obscure referenced character from a game I never played. I didn’t count the 10000 FM I’ll get for this months CPT 2018 challenge because I haven't complete the requirements yet.
As always keep fighting the good fight. Be smart with your FM don't complain about the XBM golden soldiers and "Shin" versions of characters because the alternative is Capcom charging RM for all DLC characters.

An Arcade score of 100000 or more will be recorded in the rankings for the title "Cursed Warrior"
[CPT 2018] Perform a Crush Counter 20X for 2000FM
I'll post a video below to show how to complete the requirements for "Safety Measures".
Go to Versus Mode, choose versus CPU, set the difficulty to 1 (for an easier life), choose Bustling Side Street Stage, choose an opponent, break the 4 neon signs hanging on the center left side of the stage while fighting your opponent.
After completing the weekly missions, head over to the eXtra Battle Mode, this week we have NINE!
1. Cunning Veteran Shadaloo Officer for 1500 FM
2. Get your Hands on Fortune Tickets VS SF1 Sagat for 250FM

7. Proof of a Hero BGM for 800FM
8. Get the Crossover BGM! Airman Stage 8bit ver. from Mega Man 2 for 1000FM
9. Get the Crossover BGM! Airman Stage arrange ver. from Mega Man 2 for 1000FM
This weeks missions can net you 3,050 FM
Subtract the 2,500FM for Rashid's 4th [Q&I],
Subtract 1000FM for the MM2 Airman Crossover 8 bit BGM,
Subtract 1000FM for the MM2 Airman Crossover arrange BGM,
Subtract 250FM for fighting SF1 Sagat for some Fortune Tix.
Subtract 2000FM for Ken's 4th [Q&I] if you missed it the first time,
Subtract 2000FM for Mika's 4th [Q&I] if you missed it the first time,
Subtract 2000FM for Ibuki's 4th [Q&I] if you missed it the first time,
Subtract 800 FM for Proof of a Hero if you missed it the first time
So this week I ended up with -2,950 FM because I fought the Cunning Veteran Shadaloo Soldier 3X and earned 90,000 EXP which brought my main up from lvl 51 to lvl 52 which deducted 1000 FM from the 4500 FM cost of participation. I also did Rashid's 4th [Q&I] and I fought SF1 Sagat for some fortune tix.
As always keep fighting the good fight. Be smart with your FM don't complain about the XBM golden soldiers and "Shin" versions of characters because the alternative is Capcom charging RM for all DLC characters.

Overwatch Animated Short | “Shooting Star”
Overwatch’s newest animated short is here and this time it’s centered around D.Va, the game’s star mecha pilot.
The short, called “Shooting Star,” debuted at Overwatch’s Korea Fan Festival. It takes a look beyond the glitz and glamour of D.Va’s fame and gives us a glimpse at what life is like for the former esports champion and current world-saving pilot. In the short, we see that D.Va is the leader of an elite squad of mecha pilots in an organization called MEKA who are tasked with defending the city of Busan from the Omnic threat.
After two years of waiting, Overwatch hero D.Va finally has her own animated short. While some people wish it gave a little more insight into her backstory, everyone can agree that D.Va is a selfless, precious angel who has never done anything wrong.

Star Wars Resistance Trailer 2018 VS Tie Fighter anime Fan fan film 2015
So we just got our first look at the next animated Star Wars television series, Star Wars Resistance. I have to be honest the trailer is weak. I know alot of people were turned off by Rebels art style initially when compared to TCW but that series really, REALLY impressed me. In fact dare I say I would rather watch Star Wars rebels than episode VII and VIII! Now will I check out SW Resistance? Sure, but based on this trailer I have 0 hype for this series. So Resistance takes place between ROTJ and TFA so I hope this series helps back fill the tremendous gaping hole of info missing from the ST to some extent! I understand the bright cheery color pallet as this is supposed to be peace time since this post empire....
So after watching the Resistance trailer I was reminded of something my friend said to me after walking out from the theater after seeing TPM.."If you're George Lucas Disney and have more money than God, this is the best you can do?"
So three years ago a fan of anime and Star Wars by the name of Otaking made a fan film that absolutely blew me away! It was as if Shoji Kawamori was working with Lucas Film (dream collaboration!!!) Watch the below short film and tell me which is visually more impressive.

SFV AE Weekly Missions and Extra Battle Mode for 8/10/18 - 8/17/18
It's Friday August 10th, the 27th week of AE and this weeks missions went live at 12AM last night! This weeks missions are:
1. Use a V-Skill 10X for 50FM
2. Play Story Mode for 250FM
3. Win 10 Battle Lounge Matches for 500FM
4. Come One Come All for 2,500FM
5. An Arcade score of 100000 or more will be recorded in the rankings for the title "Cursed Warrior"
6. Perform a Crush Counter 20X [CPT 2018] for 2000FM
I'll post a video below to show how to complete the requirements for "Come One Come All".
Go to Versus Mode, Choose Versus CPU, set the difficulty to 1 (for an easier life), choose Bustling Side Street Stage, choose an opponent, and beat your opponent on the left side of the stage, I'm not sure if it's required but try to knock your opponent thru the wall into the restaurant. And if you want to challenge yourself try to knock your opponent into the closet on the second round.
After completing the weekly missions, head over to the eXtra Battle Mode, this week we have NINE! :
1. Shadaloo Apparation "Ghost of Shadaloo" title for 1000FM
2. Get your Hands on Fortune Tickets VS SF1 Sagat for 250FM
3. [Quick & Immovable] Get the Crossover Costume #2 Rashid/Airman for 2500FM
4. [Quick & Immovable] Get the Crossover Costume #2 Ken/Rathalos for 2000FM
5. [Quick & Immovable] Get the Crossover Costume #2 R. Mika/Zinogre for 2000FM
6. [Quick & Immovable] Get the Crossover Costume #2 Ibuki/Kirin for 2000FM
7. Proof of a Hero for 800FM
8 Get the Crossover BGM! Airman Stage 8bit ver. from Mega Man 2 for 1000FM
9. Get the Crossover BGM! Airman Stage arrange ver. from Mega Man 2 for 1000FM
Also note 4-7 is available for purchase via the PS Store for $9.99...
This weeks missions can net you 3,300 FM + an addional 2,000FM if you bought the CPT 2018 package. Subtract the 2,500FM for Rashid's 2nd [Q&I], Subtract 1000FM for the MM2 Airman Crossover 8 bit BGM, Subtract 1000FM for the MM2 Airman Crossover arrange BGM, subtract 1000FM for each attempt against Shin Bison,
subtract 250FM for fighting SF1 Sagat for some Fortune Tix. Subtract 2000FM for Ken's 2nd [Q&I] if you missed it the first time, Subtract 2000FM for Mika's second [Q&I] if you missed it the first time, subtract 2000FM for Ibuki's second [Q&I] if you missed it the first time, subtract 800 FM for Proof of a Hero if you missed it the first time
So this week I ended up with 2,550 FM because I only did Rashid's 2nd [Q&I] and fought SF1 Sagat for some fortune tix.
I also made a little extra FM by doing Easy, Normal and Hard Survival Mode with Sagat, Gonna do the same for G get a little more FM then tackle Extreme Survival with both of them.
I think it’s pretty interesting that Capcom released Sagat AND G at the same time, so soon after Cody.I didn't get G &/or Sagat August 6th because firstly I didn't have the FM to get either of them and secondly I wasn't sure I wanted to show Capcom that if the DLC character was that desirable I'd drop the cash on them.
But in the end I did break down and buy them with real money via the PS Store because I didn't want to completely miss the train with them.
With the reduction of FM given for the weekly missions + the Xtra Battle Mode challenges that cost FM + Fighting Chance + continues in Survival Mode costing FM,
and removing FM rewards for offline stuff, I honestly think they’re trying to phase out the ability to get DLC content via FM.
Just look at the number of eXtra Battle Mode battles available this week! If that doesn't look like they're trying to get players to use all their FM I don't know what would.
As always keep fighting the good fight. Be smart with your FM don't complain about the XBM golden soldiers and "Shin" versions of characters because the alternative is Capcom charging RM for all DLC characters.

President G Making Fighting Games Great Again! But he's not connecting with the female voters......
The President of the World has taken the FGC by storm, the man of mystery has shown up out of nowhere and has rapidly shot up the popularity polls with many....except the ladies. Below we see proof of how poorly G has resonated with the females....apparently there are no Gold Diggers in the SF V roster.....yet.

Congratulations Problem X EVO 2018 Champion!
What an amazing Grand Final for SFV at EVO 2018! There were some great matches leading up to last nights final and some crazy upsets also. But the Grand Final between defending Champ Tokido and Problem X was the epitome of hype!
I knew we were gonna get some news for SFV last night during Final but I didn't see Capcom releasing both G and Sagat TODAY! As I jokingly said earlier many people will be forced to buy Sagat with real money when he launches with all the new additions to SFV that you can spend FM on (Fighting Chance, Continues in Survival) and little to no new ways of accruing FM.
I figured G was gonna come out later this month and Sagat was gonna come out mid/ late September. By then I'd have enough FM for Sagat for sure and maybe G as well but since Capcom is dropping them both today I'm currently short 32,780 FM for Sagat. When I woke this morning I saw the trailers for both of them and of course I watched Sagat's first, but then I watched G's and I gotta tell ya G's theme is old school hip hop hilarity!!! I despise Ed's them yet I LOVE G's!

SFV AE Weekly Missions and Extra Battle Mode for 8/2/18 - 8/9/18
It's Friday August 3rd, the 26th week of AE and this weeks missions went live at 12AM last night! This weeks missions are:
Go to Story Mode, choose Character Story, choose Karin, choose the final chapter...viola! That's it! You don't even need to fight the CPU.
After completing the weekly missions, head over to the eXtra Battle Mode, this week we have :
1. Rashid's [Q&I] #1 for 2,500FM participation fee
2. Experienced Shadaloo Soldier for 1000FM participation fee
3. Get your hands on Fortune Tix #6 for 250FM participation fee
This weeks missions can net you 4,400 FM. Subtract the 2,500FM for Rashid's 1st [Q&I], subtract 3000FM for the 3 attempts against the Experienced Shadaloo Soldier and subtract 250FM for fighting Cannon Strike Cammy for some Fortune Tix.
So this week I ended up with -1,350 FM but because I was able to level up from beating the Experienced Shadaloo Soldier I made 1000FM so I ended up only -350FM.
EVO is this weekend to I'll be watching the SFV tournament hoping for PG Punk (Karin) or Fujimura (Ibuki).
Oh and Good Luck to Capcom Unity's Born Unique!
As always keep fighting the good fight. Be smart with your FM don't complain about the XBM golden soldiers and "Shin" versions of characters because the alternative is Capcom charging RM for all DLC characters.
- Perform a Counter 10X for 150FM
- View a Demonstration for 250FM
- Win 10 Casual Matches for 1500FM
- Sakura's Urgent Errand for 2,500FM
Go to Story Mode, choose Character Story, choose Karin, choose the final chapter...viola! That's it! You don't even need to fight the CPU.
