- Marvel Vs Capcom 3: East Coast vs. West Coast 5-on-5 (plus live Draft!). NerdJosh and EG Justin Wong will choose the players that best represent each coast in the eternal East Vs West coast rivalry. They will meet on the EVO main stage to see who can back up another year’s worth of trash talk!
- Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Online Edition 5-man Round-Robin Kumite! On the eve of SF3:OE’s return, 5 representatives from around the world will be chosen to show the world the greatness of Third Strike.
- World-premiere Video Exclusives. A few have been announced (like Desk’s new EVO combo video, and the premier of the “Balrog: Behind the Glory” short film), but EVO 2011 has more unannounced video surprises in store!
Triple Stream! 2011 will feature an amazing new triple-stream to bring you as many of your favorite matches as possible, stretching the 72 hours of EVO into many more hours of amazing EVO stream. Stream #1 will run Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition and Marvel vs Capcom 3, Stream #2 will feature Mortal Kombat, Tekken 6, and BlazBlue, while Stream #3 will follow the action to late-night grudge matches where top players run it back in a series of high-profile exhibitions.

In addition to all of that, there’s also a little thing we call the 2011 EVO World Finals, aka THE BIGGEST FIGHTING GAME TOURNAMENT IN THE HISTORY OF PLANET EARTH.
Thousands of competitors from an unbelievable 44 different countries will come to Las Vegas as they attempt to climb the perilous path to EVO glory. They will play across 5 different tournament titles, culminating in only 8 finalists for each game. Finalists appear on Sunday to decide an ultimate champion.
EVO is where players from across the world come to show their power to the world and make a name for themselves, but of course it also features the best-known champions in the world. The following is a partial list of the amazing and otherwise notable players you will find in the competition;
