Justice League Special Comic-Con Footage
Watch: Comic-Con ‘Justice League’ Trailer Featuring Aquaman and The Flash
The trailer for Zack Snyder’s DC superhero team-up, which features the first look at Ezra Miller’s The Flash, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg.
“I believe that an enemy is coming, from far away… I’m looking for warriors.”
So sayeth Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne, who’s been charged with assembling a superteam of DC Comics’ heroes to battle an unknown villain.
Yes, the very first trailer for Zack Snyder’s answer to Marvel’s The Avengers, the upcoming Justice League film, debuted at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, and from the look of it, appears to have addressed some of the tonal deficiencies of his terribly grim Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice—thanks in large part to the wise-cracking appearance of Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen/The Flash, who exchanges some fun banter with Batfleck.
The film, which hits theaters November 17, 2017, also boasts Jason Momoa’s (Khal Drogo!) Aquaman, who we glimpse for the first time in the special Comic-Con footage, as well as Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher’s Cyborg, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, and a very diesel J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. We don’t get to see Simmons, Adams, or even Henry Cavill’s Superman in the trailer—as well as Jared Leto’s Joker and Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor, who reportedly make appearances in the film—but it’s a nice little teaser that seems, well, far less grim than its predecessor.
