The scene where Cobb and Arthur explain to Ariadne the importance of the individuals totem supports my theory. It's not till later in the film that we discover that Cobb is in possesion of Mal's totem and the final scene clearly shows the top is spinning I believe this supports my theory.
Another scene of inception that I found particularly fascinating was when Cobb was tutoring Ariadne on building the "world" of the dream, he tells her "it's not until you wake up that you realize there was something strange in the dream". Now take the scene where Mal commits suicide, seemed moral enough, but in retrospect you ask yourself why was she on the ledge across from their room? How did she get there and in high heels no less?! That I think is the genious of Inception, the scenes people think is "reality" are actually Mal's dream! And I guarantee with more viewings we will spot more things that are amiss in the scenes we thought Cobb and crew were awake!Willhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02344796149880404930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8794302361847486078.post-61431857698070097692010-07-28T15:34:05.376-04:002010-07-28T15:34:05.376-04:00Another theory that supports the idea that Cobb is...Another theory that supports the idea that Cobb is NOT in Limbo by the end of the movie. This I would have to see for myself, but someone claims that when Cobb is in reality he does not wear a wedding ring, but when he's in a dream state he always appears to be wearing his wedding ring. In the final scene, some claim, he is not wearing a wedding ring, therefore, we're in reality. Or... maybe he's in a dream but NOT wearing the ring because he's freed himself from her influence?

...

(head explodes)Krogenarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00108450631895461014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8794302361847486078.post-37228832141590751912010-07-28T15:30:30.048-04:002010-07-28T15:30:30.048-04:00I've been reading around the 'Net, and peo...I've been reading around the 'Net, and people are saying what I seem to remember Cobb saying, that the top was actually Mal's old totem, the one he took from her in order to achieve Inception on her (planting the idea that the world wasn't real). I presume that he now uses it himself.

A lot of people believe that the top keeps on spinning, meaning that Cobb is still trapped in the dream state (Limbo). Their reasoning is that Cobb's children match his dream exactly, they haven't aged at all. So, unless he was away for a very short amount of time, then it's likely that he's still in Limbo.

Great movie, right?!Krogenarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00108450631895461014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8794302361847486078.post-27816954732338052222010-07-28T09:45:17.968-04:002010-07-28T09:45:17.968-04:00Fantastic summary of the movie Krog, but you may w...Fantastic summary of the movie Krog, but you may want to watch it at least once more...
What was Mala's totem?
